When fit, he has probably been one of the best centre halves we have had in the past 30 years. Best of luck Winston.
Where do it say here he was better than Rio? It says "one of the best"

Re: Sliding doors

It's not sods law though. It is the inevitable result of the type of ownership we have. They showed their true ambitions before we left UP. Remember we were top 4 around Christmas under Allaydyce's last season, not just under Bilic's first season with us.

Re: Ex players views on the current situation

As I’ve previously spouted on here to the point of overkill I suspect, as a work experience kid working in Debden, Sir Trevor used to get print stuff done with the firm I was at, and this legend once decided to make a round of tea while waiting to pick up some flyers. I’ve had a cup of tea made by ...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

If the only examples you can come up with of rich owners who rent a ground for 26 days of the year are Sullivan and Hearn, which didn't happen, then it's not " any rich owner"

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Brady works for the Sun so she is already viewed as vermin by Liverpool supporters. West Ham have no jurisdiction over what goes on in Anfield, as long as the banners are not offensive and meet fire safety regulations the home side have already said they will allow them in. They have a very strong I...

Re: Ex players views on the current situation

Brooking said he'd been told coins had been thrown.

His words were then turned around and it ended up being reported he'd seen it himself.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

The complete lack of contrition, the attacks on fans and continued lies by Gold, them priming their puppets on Talksport and trying to manipulate social media etc all indicate the board have no intention of respecting the fan base.

Re: Trial seperation

I've done it. When I worked to a strict shift pattern in the 80s I stopped going to games for a few years and I was someone that would go every week since I was a kid with school mates. I was really surprised at how quickly I adjusted to not going to games. I thought it was going to be the end of my...

Re: Sunday Supplement

Ian Abrahams is not a concern, no one takes him seriously. It's not normal for a middle aged man to have hundreds of selfies with random footballers so he can wish his "friend" happy birthday. Just a glorified, deeply unpleasant village idiot. The rest, you have to just keep chipping away, undermini...
