Re: The Three Hammers podcast

Talking about Payet, I would have him back too. He scored some of the best goals I have ever seen a West Ham player score. I think it's probably just paper talk though.

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

The gulf in class between Leicester and us was clear to see. They are a top 6 Premier League side,we are a bottom 4 side who will soon be sliding into the relegation zone. I remember chatting to some foxes fans in the pub before we played them last time we were in the Championship. We were the bigge...

Re: 2019/2020 Relegation Thread

Unfortunately, it’s a lose/lose situation. Stay in the Prem and you have ***** owners forever and a day, unless some Russian or Chinese criminal launders a large enough chunk of cash in the direction of GSB to do one. In addition, as every team below the top 2 now (used to 6 but maybe that down to ...

Ah the magic of the FA cup, kids and stiffs getting mugged off by a team a division below us.
I am not bothering, why should I? They wont.

Re: How much do you care about relegation?

The owners will be fine, this isn't their first rodeo. They have been down with us and they took Birmingham down three times. Yeah sure their pride will be dented, but I think it is really being over egged on here how much it will really effect them. The only thing they really care about is money. W...

Re: Our players are not good enough

the question is would many of our players get a start in most PL teams outside the bottom 3 ? Rice, Antonio, Fornals, Fab possibly Anderson if whoever was managing him could get him to last years form. Then possible Ogbonna and at a push Diop. I reckon those are all good enough for a mid table prem...

Re: How much do you care about relegation?

I find the idea of relocating extremely appealing. Any football ground will do. We are West Ham, and in a football ground, we will be together again. I'll repeat - any football ground will do. :crest: I agree, but I also think it is a very long shot. Also, by the time it happens most of us will be ...

Re: How much do you care about relegation?

Why does everyone think that relegation will increase the chances of the spivs selling up? I think it increases the chances of them further asset stripping us in the short term. Parachute payments, reduced rent, big cheques for Rice etc. I reckon that gives them at least a couple of years with simil...

Re: How much do you care about relegation?

They would be able to sell Rice, Haller, Anderson, Diop, Yarmolenko and Fornals to make up the shortfall of Premier League TV money. They would then invest enough to start signing decent Championship players which would be a fraction of the cost to what they would need to spend if we were a Premier...

Re: How much do you care about relegation?

100 odd milll a year lost from the premier league, the rent on the stadium means nothing It does if the spivs get gifted the stadium to end the financial burden on the taxpayer. One thing the spivs are good at is making money. They are totally inept at running a football club from a fans point of v...

To be honest I don't blame him, I don't want to be here either. Mind you nobody is paying me a gazillion squid a week.

I would laugh my tits off as the horriblecunts that own the club would loose a fortune.

Especially that insipid bint Brady and Sullivan the lying prick
Would they though?
Isn't there a clause that makes our rent at the bowl even cheaper if we are relegated?

Re: How much do you care about relegation?

5 I think it will be the final nail in the coffin. I don't think we will come back up and we will be rattling around in the bowl. Those who have left will stay away, those on the verge will join them. The tourists and day trippers will be fewer. We will be left with a half empty white elephant and a...

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

I was in Singapore when they beat us at our place, and my father in law, who is from Leicester, was a complete and utter trumpet about it. Really rubbed it in, despite being a fair weather fan who hasn’t been to see them for 40+ years. Hope we absolutely shaft them tonight. It's always the fair wea...

Re: 2019/2020 Relegation Thread

Ah yes those far off days of respecting the point in the Championship. I am sure that Moyes will capture the spirit and new West Ham way as set down by Snr Alladyci. Defend and hoof only this time it wont be at the nasty cramped Boleyn but will be at the lovely wide open (and mostly empty) space of ...

How many support West Ham and listen to TalkSport? How many use Ladbrokes or Paddy Power or Selco? How many already aren't using any of these goods and services? Just boycott the station. It is tabloid radio.
We need West Ham fans to not phone in.

Re: Boycott Talksport Advertisers

There's only one fight that needs fighting, why waste time with this? I believe that it would hurt the owners. There are lots of battles to be fought in this war, they are winning the media battle s they are all on their side. I thought it was a good idea (not mine) and something that a lot of peop...

Why?
To give them an incentive to report our side of the issue. The owners are feeding them lies for a reason and Talksport are towing the line. Lets give them a reason not to do that anymore.
