Boycott Talksport Advertisers

I had this discussion on Hammers United facebook page. I suggested that we boycott Talksport, but somebody suggested that we boycott their advertisers instead. West Ham fans boycotting of any goods or services advertised on the station until they stop sharing the boards lies and allowed a fair discu...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

I'm bringing family next Saturday to cup game. Looking for a pub that's ok for a pre match pint. Kids are early/late teens so not worried about language but just wondered if Carpenter's Arms was suitable and if so what is the best way to get there from Stratford station please. Hackney Wick is our ...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

What would make matters really uncomfortable for them and would in my view, probably make them quit, would be for 60,000 people in the stadium to rise as one and chant incessantly, non stop, GS&B out! ~ Think Villa Park semi final v Nottingham Forest in 1991 and that fantastic non stop 'Johnny Lyal...

Re: West Ham United v Everton: Match Thread

Commentator on the radio saying it's the worst start to a Premier league game he has seen all season.
Usually I feel gutted to be missing a game, today it is something akin to relief that I can't be there.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Looked well attended and even better very dignified. At the very least the club should engage with representatives. They wont, it will be played down, they will say how hard they are trying. What they don't mention is what they do if they had an employee who failed as spectacularly as they have des...

Re: West Ham United v Everton: Match Thread

Not an inspiring line up. I think a draw is the best we can hope for in our 'must win' game.

Re: 2019/2020 Relegation Thread

If we get relegated is there a clause that means we lose the stadium? That would be a right old shame. No but apparently there is a clause which lowers the rent while we are out of the Premier League. Maybe that is what the owners are after, make the deal even worse for he taxpayer and they will be...

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

The real question should be:
David Sullivan - Has he taken us for as much as he can?

Only when the answer to that question is yes will we be shot of the grubby little parasite.

Re: Lukasz Fabianski signs

a shame to me how few seem bothered that our HotY hasn’t seriously hurt himself and so bothered in turning it into a discussion on Sully & his money I assumed that he hasn't hurt himself too badly, considering that he will be back in 2 weeks. My worry is that the owners are going to gamble on us be...

Re: Lukasz Fabianski signs

So two weeks without a Premier League standard goalkeeper. Maybe the owners are not worried about relegation. Is it possible that they have done the maths and worked out that the money we will save in playing staff coupled with the parachute payment, is worth the risk?

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Personally I wouldn't sign anyone in this window. There's no point. I would however listen to offers for Yarmolenko Diop Reid Zabaleta Fredricks Cresswell Arthur Lanzini Snodgrass Sanchez Ajeti Dirty Jack And , if he wants to go, Antonio. That kind of suggests the degree of a rebuild we will need o...

Re: Elation of a goal

They have sucked the joy out of football with stupid rule changes and with VAR. I really feel like I can't be bothered anymore after tonight. To lose is fine, to play badly is OK, we are West Ham, we expect it. But to lose like that after going mental, it just isn't what I signed up to all those yea...

Feel sorry for those lads who've just been nicked going on the pitch.
Was there a pitch invasion? What happened?
I switched off and stomped out of the room when the VAR thing happened.
