Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Moyes did some really good work with the squad he had and did it with a fair amount of dignity. Peller's first season was enjoyable, but he's made some bad decisions with the squad. But let's face it with the three year cycle of 'fund, stagnate, undermine' no one is gonna do any better.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Seems like this Enzo bloke is at least partially running the show at the moment. If Pellers goes might be him in charge.

Dermot Gallacher on my stream saying that “Bertrand was just standing his ground and he couldn’t do much else”. He literally moves forward and barges into the back of Haller. F*cking plonker.
Jesus, he literally watches him and takes him out.

We fell apart when Cresswell went off. Arthur's positional sense is appalling.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

This. If only we hadn’t imploded with Fabianski’s injury we could have been top five easily (Burnley, Newcastle and Sheffield United could all easily have been wins on early season form). That thought alone makes me so annoyed at how West Ham had a chance and failed to take it. it’s just what we do...

Re: ⚽ Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United: Match Thread

If Antonio is out then Pellegrini needs to have a proper think. Not just go back to the same team and tactics that didn't win for 8 games. Exactly - nor just replace Antonio with Haller. We're gonna have to cope with the wing backs more than anything. Fornals and Snod as wide players might be able ...

Martin made a huge difference. I thought it was more a 4411 than 433 - with both wide players working very hard. All that and Antonio up front and it was a different team.

So a keeper who didn't look terrified and can do the basics. Someone who can run up front and in behind. Pellers gets £7m a year to work this stuff out. Good to see the team step up and give a crap.

I like it. Anderson needs freeing up and Haller has been well mardy... unsurprisingly given the service but it might wake him up a bit.

Re: Who Next? The odds

God, I'd pushed the creative trequartista that was Cheik under Moyes out of my mind. That is up there with the worst managerial moves I've ever seen. He was there to either mark the opposition DCM or win headers for Arnie. Hardly a number 10. Not saying I agree with it but let's not make it somethi...

Re: Who Next? The odds

Wouldn't mind Hughton working with these players for a bit. With regards to Howe, why on earth would he want to work for Sullivan? Why would any manager worth their salt? Howe's a club builder, he wouldn't be allowed the control he'd want.

Was bored and had a nose about on their forum. 20 reasons to laugh at West Ham. 1) They are West Ham 2) They have only ever won 4 trophies. 3) They haven't won a trophy for 39 years 4) They think they are our rivals 5) Their all time hero (Noble) has NEVER managed to get in some shitty England squa...

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

Sully has one modus operandi for running the club and it has no coherent vision whatsoever - we've gone from Grant to Allardyce to Bilic, because we couldn't get Benitez, to Moyes to Pellegrini. No coherent strategy in that. What Sullivan does is a purely a business model - you appoint a CEO (manage...

West Ham United: Roberto, Fredericks, Diop, Balbuena, Cresswell, Rice, Noble (c), Fornals, Snodgrass, Felipe Anderson, Haller
Subs: Martin (GK), Zabaleta, Ogbonna, Sanchez, Lanzini, Yarmolenko, Ajeti

odd Yarmolenko can't get in the team.
