Re: Kia, Sheff Utd, Duxbury, McCabe and arbitration

D.A. I would have "wanted" Lord HawHaw to have punished us to the tune of 50 odd million. Then the world would have realised how seriously demented the idiot was. We cannot appeal the decision (well we might) but I would imagine that we most certainly could appeal the "sentence" so to speak. I thin...

Re: Wigan v West Ham Utd: Match Thread

Did anyone see what Zola did when Attwell got to the tunnel? I saw Zola applaud him as he came off then the stream cut out. First time I've seen him slightly irate  Ref is a complete and utter cock. Ruined this game single handedly. Zola looks the most animated I've ever seen him - after the g...

basically Brown was waving his arms about to the ref about Cole's high foot (no contact no intent) and that got Cole sent off - Parker went apeshit.

Re: Fresh enquiry into Tevez deal

If this new 'enquiry' finds the 85 year old's decision to be a load of bollox, which it obviously is, it could mean a resolution in our favour.

Re: Match Thread: West Ham -v- Everton

Sorry, but I don't think the football is that entertaining - looks very naive and lacking in drive and momentum, one paced and without penetration - not able to get behind teams. 3 goals in the last ten minutes is not a fluke but a team incapable of holding a lead.

Re: Hull City v West Ham Utd: match thread

FWIW I thought Cole had a very good game - all apart from the fact he can't finish and never seems to even threaten the goal. That said I thought the main problem was that the way GZ sets the team out to play, it isn't gonna work against teams like Hull and Bolton, with the expectations of underdogs...

Re: Kia, Sheff Utd, Duxbury, McCabe and arbitration

looking at Man U's deal with MSI, it doesn't seem that different to the one we had. How Dufbury et al manged to **** this one up so badly is beyond me - and for UB, do you think Man U should have a points deduction? After all, come January MSI will be able to decide when and where he goes?? 3rd part...

Re: Kia, Sheff Utd, Duxbury, McCabe and arbitration

His plan and vision is to make the club debt-free (without your money!) by developing off-field income streams. We have a business centre in one corner which contributes about £2 mill per year, and alongside expanding the capacity we are building another in an open corner. We are also just about to...

Re: Kia, Sheff Utd, Duxbury, McCabe and arbitration

Nope, it is very definitely justice. The one thing I want out of all this is for West Ham to get done for the second bout of cheating. Couldn't give a stuff about £30m, £50m, £100m. mate you need to wake up and smell the coffee - it wasn't that big a deal, it's just your chairman took football matt...

Re: Kia, Sheff Utd, Duxbury, McCabe and arbitration

Blade had already answered that one. Those players you mention were just guilty of being crap. ... . Duxbury et al should be hung out to dry, but if the boot was on the other foot I'd feel like a complete charlatan. What was done was utterly loathable but these things go on all the time in football...

taking into account the football, the law, regulations - who said what when, and who did what when - I'd like to know if you genuinely feel you deserve to take WHU's place in the EPL?

Re: Kia, Sheff Utd, Duxbury, McCabe and arbitration

From a Blunts forum The CAS looked at the evidence and facts and decided over a long time that WHU cheated. cheated - I think that's where all the bull**** lies - WHU did not cheat , diving is cheating, bribing a referee is cheating. Having an illegal clause in a contract is not cheating on a footb...
