Re: The England post - mortem (World Cup 2010)

I think the man in charge at the FA should make a simple phone call to Arsene Wenger and say "Mr Wenger we are starting english football again from scratch - how much do you want?

Re: Why do the BBC try and pretend ITV doesn't exist?

Never mind the BBC, i wish ITV did'nt exist - Adrian Chiles knows sweet fa about football and the panel of Southgate, Viera & keegan are bloody boring. I do like Andy Townsend though.

Re: England 0 Algeria 0 (Group C)

Thought James did well, as did Barry, the rest were dire. Terry is found out at International level - can't bully forwards cos he gives away too many fouls. Carragher is dog slow and as sh*t today as he's been all season. Cole and Johnson never got foward. SWP and Lennon remind me of taking the dog...

Re: Summer 2010 Transfer Talk/Rumours

I think we'd better get used to this boys & girls - Spurs can offer champions league football next season - that's a big card which of course Harry will love using - so he be taking huge liberties.

Re: Stratford 2012: the running track [POLL]

To me it's very very simple football pitches and running tracks just don't go. Period. Just look at old Stamford Bridge and Wembley - both revamped stadiums previously with running tracks/greyhound tracks and now no tracks - for ****'s sake Gold and Sullivan think about it - it does not work. And as...

Re: Our future manager?

I cannot help but think that one of the main reasons Gold/Sullivan felt the need to have a go at the team is because they did not feel that Zola was strong enough to do it himself. Once we get a stronger willed manager who will deal with the players if need be rather than simply giving them all a b...

Re: Liverpool vs West Ham Utd: match thread

Watched the match in one of the local pubs (In Essex) last night. A good clearout is needed in the summer - a complete rebuild around Scott Parker. Lots of very chirpy spurs fans in there laughing at how bad we are till another hammer enquired if they had repaired their pub yet - that shut em up. Me...

Re: Everton vs West Ham Utd: match thread

Here's a tip on how to manage a football team Zola - when mido so casually strolled up as if he could'nt have cared less weather he scored or not you should have substituted him then called Gold or Sullivan down from the directors box to get them to cancel his contract immediately and then tell him ...

Re: Everton vs West Ham Utd: match thread

I really can't make my mind up - on one hand I feel we are due a bit of luck and on the other I feel that even if we get luck it will be no use because some of our lot have already given up the fight - like Green and Upson - who appear to have the attitude of i'm too good for this **** I play for en...

Apologies if this has already been done on this thread but I have been away for a week - did the flag make it's scheduled appearance today?

Re: Man Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread

Sorry but I can only see a defeat tonight - yeah their defence is not great but attack is the best form of defence and that's what they will do - all out attack. I just hope I'm wrong. COYI

Re: Man Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread

They are expecting a very easy match and are giving us no chance, if we (please god) get anything out of this, I think we should register and give them some almighty deserved stick. http://www.redcafe.net/f11/manchester-united-v-west-ham-united-286627/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;...

Before I go on holiday tomorrow, may I suggest someone chooses a pub in the city centre where Kumbers can meet up. However, as there may be quite a few meeting up perhaps 2 pubs would be better than one and I think there are 2 pubs right next to each other - seperated only by a narrow alley - I thin...

This is exactly the reason why I can't get worked up over England at the world cup - we have the players to do well but not the manager - he has never been any good at tactics and substitutions but now now he even takes the wrong players - how can you possibly take Walcott in place of Defoe - I don'...
