Re: Summer transfer talk/rumours

Bearing all this in mind, a certain Russian billionaire might decide to spend his fortunes a little closer to home leaving our friends from the other side of London in a little spot of bother.

Shame.

Re: Greece vs Russia.

Has to be a mistake. If Russia are 8-1 then Greece will be even longer, which basically means you could stick any amount on BOTH teams and are guarenteed to come out winning a fortune.

Unless its 0-0.

Re: Greece-Sweden

So Greece dont have the players to win in the style that everyone wants. Big ****ing deal. They won it as massive underdogs last time and its up to other teams to beat them.

Not pretty to watch but at the end of the day you play to your stengths.

Re: Summer transfer talk/rumours

I think you missed out the word potentially from that sentence. Parker is currently in a different class to Noble, who is in danger of stagnating IMO. Agreed. Noble promises a lot but has a long way to go, I didn't see much of an improvement this season on the last. A fit Parker is leagues ahead.

Re: 2007/08 official NFL thread (non WHU)

just had this email i can buy those from tomorrow apparently, anyone else going to go? Doubt it to be honest, unless the Packers are involved I couldn't get excited about it. However I guess I'm lucky to have already been to a couple of NFL games in Green Bay, I suppose if I hadn't then I would be ...

Has to be a yes from me, he kept us up and hes got us a top half finish. Lets see what he can do with a full squad and at least give him a chance at taking us to the next level.

Re: Man Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread

What was the crack with Tevez at the end ?? I heard he gave our Mob some applause, also he seemed apologetic when he scored didn' he ?? He seemed to raise an apologetic hand to us when he scored, certainly didn't celebrate in an excessive way. I didn't see a crossed arm salute but he did appalud us.

Re: Man Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread

Well its seems that many people don't seem to understand why they are making Pantsil such a legend...you know i have addressed this before and its not got any better. Lets face it...right now LBM has to be booed and Pantsil has to be celebrated. Headbanger I know who had the better game yesterday.....

Re: Man Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread

To be honest I have seen all sets of fans give applause to the opposition goalkeeper. Have not seen a Gordon Banks style round of appluse but its polite, even at the grounds of those who hate us/we hate them. Personally chanting for Tevez after his goal was on a par with chanting for Pardew when 4-...

Re: Man Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread

Whether or not they gave two stuffs the fact is that he was prepared to show his appreciation to us. As far as i can remember we have always shown appreciation to quality football, going back through the 90's, 80's and 70's which is when I started. It shows that West Ham fans are a class above the ...

Re: Man Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread

Is that the same Pantsil that was a liabilty ? Headbanger Tomkins missed the header but your hero didn't call or look after the Prems best player who he was supposed to be marking but decided would just stand there with an arm up in hope I wonder if we'll get the Manure fans singing "lets all ...
