Luckiest three points we'll get all season.

Nobes had a total howler. Bellamy close to total anonymity.

Thank God for Green.

Lucas has improved, as has Bowyer.

Cole deserved a goal today.

If Carlton Cole is anywhere near Upton Park on saturday, we will lose. If not, then 2-0 to us. I think he's almost definitely in the 16. He's probably in the 11, all told. We'll only lose if we concede. Even Cole's biggest detractors can't blame defensive lapses on him, surely. The truth is this pr...

Mark Noble 'ran up the field' to considerably more decisive effect last season, scoring a couple in the process.

We have 5 strikers. Offering someone the chance to be the 6th at UP aint as tempting as you might imagine.

Scaloni Is The Messiah wrote: Even compared to last season? This is Brazil 1970 in comparison.
Ha Ha - that's so true.

Compare and contrast Reading (a) then Boro (h)

with

Watford (h) FA Cup Watford (h) Prem

As the man says, 'just like watching Brazil'.

I'm only half joking too.

Nobody at the club will be happy with three straight defeats - that's a given. They'd all point to our being a) disallowed a reasonable goal (vs L'Arse) and b) conceding a questionable free kick (on Saturday). Injuries to some of our purchases were perhaps more predictable than to others, but 1. We ...

I reckon we'll scrape to victory - but that Cole will be the scorer of the single goal in a one-nil.

Make you right about recent matches, WLH.

In at least 2 of them, we could have emerged with a point, whether that would have been deserved or not. We had more possession than Villa yesterday.

If we'd got 2 points from the last three games, this thread would never have started.

4 points off the rather familiar drop zone too, which may narrow today... To use a cliche, I'd rather have the points than a game in hand. Make you right about the table as it stands, but its too early, really. We have a side capable of scoring home and away - but half of it is injured or in poor f...

I'm not convinced by any manager who has been suggested as his replacement (except of course for Mourinho - dream on!!)...

We're 4 points off 5th place.

Its a bad patch - not a crisis.

If Marlon plays, even for a single minute of extra time, I just know he's gonna score a belter. O'Neill seems to always look to play 4-3-3, which concentrates a lot of their attacks down the channels. Neill and McCartney need to be right on top of their games. Barry will be looking to impress - to g...

We've been robbed a point - the ball flicks up off a gooner's foot - which played Freddie on.

Obviousy, it happened in a split second, but we deserved a point today.

yeah he played against Plymouth what about Mullins though? They played - pretty uneventfully - alongside each other on Wednesday. I don't imagine that its an experiment that AC will repeat in the Prem. Both were too deep. I'd put Lee on Clichy - who will advance across the halfway line at will toda...

Every fan in green I met yesterday was a decent sort, either in a "home pub" or on the way there and back. Nobody gave it large on the way there and everyone shrugged about our luck on the way back. It was a poor game and I'm glad I never made such a long trip (getting back to South London was tedio...

Spot on

On both counts.

Few players put in a good shift. We rarely put them under sustained pressure.

Still a win is a win.

We'd fill the ground next round, if we got Prem opponents: Satay please.

Even Plym would rule us down their left, if we had Ljunberg in front of Paintsil.
