Not surprising he does not play the high press chasing game anymore. Just strolls around waiting for opportunities to score

Probably the most likely set up, hopefully Kouyate plays a blinder

He's a right moody ****er, so let's start him and let him take it out on them
Or he is a moody bugger so start him and we have to watch him amble across the pitch looking disinterested most of the time

Re: Burnley v West Ham Utd: match thread

Cannot understand the calls for Sakho to start, he suits coming on as a sub at the moment. His levels of effort on the pitch do not mirror a couple years ago and that was why he was so effective. 20 mins exploiting any spaces the opposition leave when they are tiring suits him.

Re: West Ham United -v- Swansea City : Match Thread

state of this post. with a better striker they'd have spotted all the gaps that our defence was leaving wide open for said phantom striker and run into them? have a word. for how crap we were we had a good half dozen decent chances. they didn't have one. they set up for their fourth consecutive clea...

Re: West Ham United -v- Swansea City : Match Thread

I can’t take any positives from that, would’ve been double figures had that been City and 3 or 4 if Swansea brought a decent striker with them. There is something seriously not right with the team at the moment, nobody wants to pass to each other, run off the other man, move into space. I personall...

Re: West Ham United -v- Swansea City : Match Thread

As stated on the previous page the team is confirmed as Hart Zabaleta Fonte Reid Cresswell Antonio Noble Kouyate Ayew Carroll Chicarito 442 or 4231? Arnie not in the squad but Lanzini on the bench. Andy loves it against these guys so hopefully that continues :scarfer:

—————-Hart --Kouyate—Reid—Fonte Zabaleta——-——Arthur -—Kouyate—Noble Antonio————-Arnoutovic ———--Hernandez Lanzini and Carroll to come on if we look inept in anyway. Swap Antonio for Lanzini if he’s groin injury is touch and go, it’s not worth the risk. Not sure Kouyate can play CB and CM at once :w...

Re: West Bromwich Albion v West Ham United match thread

Hard working point, reminds me of some of the grinded out points when Payet was out in Slav's first season. Definitely not pretty, Chicarito through the middle is pointless when there is nobody behind who can pick a pass. When Lanzini is back then tactics can change. Two clean sheets in a row is a d...

Same team as we thought, Arnautovic on what is a very good bench. Carroll attacking and defending corners against this lot

Hopefully another high tempo, hard working performance like Monday night

Glass half empty time... This game will bring those of you hoodwinked by the Huddersfield games back to earth with a bump. Bilic to be out-maneuvered yet again by the tactically superior Pulis. 2-0 Tactially superior Tony Pulis, you are taking the pulis! Organised maybe but he is no tactical genius...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017

£8 million PLUS Carroll for Dwight Gayle :? The things you hear sometimes, would keep Andy-if he plays 20 odd games like the last two years then he will contribute. Will hopefully manage a few more games as an impact sub and not a guaranteed starter. Dwight Gayle is not the answer unless we are plan...
Agreed but much more experienced players have let us down already this season, Fonte was a liability and is all experience. It's catch 22 as how does he get the experience... if we sign a 25 year old DM for 40m, will he ever get the chance? Perfectly reasonable point, easing him into ...
