Re: Declan Rice

This lad looks like a real player, had a very accomplished game last night and looked like he had played 200 games in the first team such was his command.

Re: West Bromwich Albion v West Ham United match thread

Carroll has to be involved. We got done by an injury time corner at home last season, Carroll defends better than anyone I have ever seen at corners.

Re: Brexit referendum result aftermath

Who's "we" Tonto? :) I know self loathing has become a popular fashion as of late but the intelligent remainers should have realised those not infected with this toxicity (a fair majority IMO) would meet threats like that with belligerence. Or perhaps this was another example of out of to...

They are nearly all in, a few in the middle sections, and the home and away dugouts to do.

What was a complete try on by the Blades nearly turned in to a disaster for us, at a time where we were skating on thin ice financially they didn't give a toss, **** them.

Bilic can't sign a whole county.
Might help park the bus better against the top six.

There have been bids, and not to long ago. It's never mentioned as he nor the club entertain them.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Is it true that all the corporate had to buy 2 seasons up front ? Heard this recently. That could be interesting next year in the championship. From what I've heard, our service and facilities in said corporate area leave a lot to be desired - "a bit like the front lobby in a Premier Inn with ...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017

So in essence we're looking at a striker, a DM and a centre back to come in in the space of two days.
I don't think we are in for a forward, they feel Antonio can cover, which is true, and Arnautovic can play as down the middle if needs be.
If we do any business it'll be a winger and DM.

Re: what pub have you been in today ? Rate it out of 10

Alas they are my team so I have to be seen to be a team player. So 3 pints of London Lager and I was out of there. Thankfully I have a good old fashioned paddy as a drinking partner. To him a pub is a building that serves beer. Nothing more, nothing less. Buts he's on holiday Where you at Rich? Sou...

Re: Manuel Lanzini

A couple of weeks since anyone commented on Lanzini . He's a lovely player to watch but has his importance been magnified, since the departure of Payet, beyond his true capabilities ? He's still very young and inexperienced, at 24 years old he has only just played 80 first class matches, Coutinho, ...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

he truth is that Noble is probably approaching a similar fork in the road to the one Rooney recently faced. Stay and play a lesser part or move and be a regular. The difference with Rooney is that he was able to move to the club he loves whereas Noble would be leaving it. I hope he is big enough to...

Watch him against top 6 level opposition, he can't get close to anyone
Except he was the best midfield player v Spurs at home and Chelsea in the cup last season, the two best teams in the league.

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

Lacks athleticism these days. Last season he seemed to be wearing lead boots at times. I have no pleasure in saying this by the way. A fine servant to the club and spoke so well at the last game at Upton park. But we need to improve and he is the one that needs to be replaced imo. The best thing no...

Re: Southampton vs West Ham United match thread

I'd certainly rather his mobility than three of our current centre backs in there. You'd hope he'd have cover by being the third man and not as exposed as in a two. But he lacks all the basic elements required to be a marking centre back, as Burnley says, he's weak, is totally one footed, cant/wont...

A lone Spitfire (a Griffon engined version as all Merlin's are grounded) followed by a B-17 and then the finale of the Red Arrows (smoke on) flying over the house this afternoon. The Spitfire flew our house a number of tiles Sat and Sunday, it absolutely hammered across our garden at a couple of hu...
