Re: Little things that irritate you
Had a counselling call booked in for 0800 today, and they didn't call until 0830. I told them that I need to go out at 0900, and they said that they will have to put it down as a non-attend as I can't complete the session. It was them that were late for **** sake!!! In a similar light, last week my...

People who try to tell us how to make the 'perfect' cup of tea (or any other food or drink for that matter). Perfect is down to personal taste, and I'm sure as hell not going to put salt in my tea. Yeah, this is fighting talk from the Americans. Also, don't those fat ****ers consume enough salt alr...

This is sort of where I am. Improved how? The fella has won the European championships the champions league the europa league he must of been pretty decent before he got here? Well, he didn't start that well. But if that's the criteria, we picked up a couple of scrubs from the Czech Republic and they did alright. Antonio is a...

Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art by James Nestor
Fascinating stuff, not overly long and well worth a read for anyone with health or mental health issues considering doing something different.

I can’t disagree more it’s all about coaching. Pep is the best coach because footballers get better under him, maybe not every single one but most and if you look at the youngsters he puts in the first team they’ve been coached up. I’m not saying moyes methods don’t work as we are 6th and doing wel...

Stomach issues is a massive issue for my mental well being My body is constantly in flight or fight mode and, as such, i get awful 'nervous' nausea. Sometimes all day long it feels like I am about to do a speech to 1000 people. It doesn't seem to have any identifiable trigger, but if my stomach is ...

Re: January transfer window
Presumably the 'No Option to Buy' would suggest that the player would like to be able to go back to Leeds should they gain promotion. I can respect and live with that, at least we know where we stand, and won't have any of the Lingard - will he, wont he, b*llocks. City are probably smart enough to ...

Re: Sheffield Utd v West Ham Utd - Match Thread
Are you seeing the barge before the elbow to the face, at the same time, or immediately after it? I can't see a barge from our player before he's struck in the face. After half a dozen viewings I think the forearm is first. However as Paul says, I don’t think that’s enough to overturn it. The foul ...

Keeper comes out, barges into the forward and doesn’t get the ball. I know they get away with it all the time but it’s still a foul. As is the one on Bowen, and that wasn’t close.prophet:marginal wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 4:52 pm You're going to have to explain your workings for that one, mate.

I thought it was a foul by Areola for their penalty. There, I’ve said it.
