Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I was hoping for a Guardiola student to come in. Maresca was one of the names that was interesting. Has been with West Ham before too. Plus City will sell us a few fringe players. The article about Moyes being the fire starter, sorry but might as well ignore most that article. He can't fire us up, ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Has anyone itk posted about how we as a club ‘deal’ with scouting potential managers? Do we monitor potential future managers or scout for them etc? Does a club like ours have an exit strategy in place for such situations, by that I mean a go to procedure in the event of a poor performing manager? I...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Much as it grinds me to say it, I think we should stick with Moyes now, no matter where it takes us for next season, I think we have missed an opportunity to make the decision and it’s too late now to get the right person in especially if that person or persons are already in existing contracts and/...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I’d love to know who was responsible for what signings in the summer. People saying Moyes has to agree them all ? I don’t believe it. I’m convinced a lot of them were as Allardyce said, “gifts from the chairman”. Moyes is no fool. I just don’t think a lot of the signings are his typical targets. Lo...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I remember towards the end of the summer window in a presser, DM said…” I have more new players than I asked for…” So looking back I think he meant exactly what he said, some of those players were not his choice…. I don’t think DM knows how to use the players he has now, since the start of the seaso...

Re: ⚽ West Ham United vs Crystal Palace: match thread

I think that Moyes is struggling to use the newer players effectively….. I think our problem is with Moyes…. I thought he lucked the team spirit we have seen in the last few seasons and that played a big part of what the team achieved …. I don’t think Moyes has much left by way of adapting to the ch...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

To whom then shall we attribute as architect to the current development? Well, to me, the answer is principally Moyes. He has earned the board's backing with his honesty, competence and professionalism. Yet, the board should also be applauded for recognising that they now have a manager worthy of b...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Would really like to see Ashby getting a season on loan in the Championship with Coufal, Johnson and Kehrer all likely ahead of him at the moment. A permanent move to Newcastle doesn't feel like it makes sense for anyone tbh. He's going to be stuck behind Trippier, who along with Pope is probably t...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Anyone know when Moyes said … “ We brought in more than I wanted..”

It was stated in the Team Talk article link from @anicedropofclaret a few pages back.. the one that said Rice hinted about another signing after Paqueta…

That’s quite a statement….!

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

If that's the case the only risk to their £100M recuperation is with injury. I don't think form will be an issue - once the squad is tuned in and revving away it will lift his game and he'll be back to Rolls Royce Rice. Possibly looking better with some of the new signings There were a lot of peopl...
