Re: What did you watch last night?

The Iron Lady. Streep is magnificent but the script is awful. The narrative was terrible, and the flashbacks of scenes of key moments in her political and personal life were so bland and stale. I would have preferred a epic biographical flick that flowed chronologically. It seemed too light-hearted ...

Re: What did you watch last night?

House of 1000 Corpses is the only one of Mr. Zombie's five films to date I don't own. It's drivel. It's sequel, The Devil's Rejects is a much, much better film. It's a sequel for sure, but it's completely different in style and tone, and it works well enough as a standalone picture too. Many conten...

Re: Fighting game with Batman in it?

Saw a mate playing the above. It looked ridiculous & i have to say pretty good. Not that im really into that kind of game anymore. Also has the Joker in it right? Injustice? It does indeed. It has a good few great DC comic book heroes and villains from Superman to Harley Quinn to Deathstroke to...

But it did take me back. I still enjoy it despite the fact that dude must be 30 years old.

Clocked up 32 hours playing and have completed about 60% of the main game. That's pretty damn fine value for money.

Homeland season 2 marathon the weekend.
Great show. Great finale, but I guess even I find Claire Danes a tad annoying and I like her quite a bit.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham United: Match Thread

I was at an event in Chicago and so had to see this on record. But I just couldn't wait to get back for this one! So I arrived home at 11pm last night and put it straight on. What a game it turned out to be. Now, I saw the whole 4-6-0 debacle on my Twitter account but I honestly felt that we played ...

Re: GTA5 is here

Once the game opened up and gave me Trevor, I think have frequently switched around and have attempted to do as much as possible, including freaks and geeks and other side missions.
Trying to buy property, as well as up my earnings.
Setting my sights on that Golf Country Club... It's only $150m.

Re: GTA5 is here

The big question is: Favourite radio station? I have to admit to being a huge fan on Non-Stop Pop or whatever it's called, the adverts are quality. I was walking along the pier the other day and overheard a girl on the phone, conversation was something like: "Did you get my portfolio pictures?...

Horrible Bosses.

Not that funny, sadly. But it did -- for the first time in my life make me get a bit worked up over Jennifer Aniston. She was dirty in this. Looks better with dark hair.

Re: GTA5 is here

I think GTAV is that great. The most complete GTA game I've played so far. The characters, the missions, the beauty of Los Santos --- it's been a pleasure in the 8 hours I've scoped in this immense game. I've just carried out the Jewelry Heist and had the honor of playing a few more missions under T...

Predator.

Love the action, and the effects. Totally forgot how dodgy the acting was at times!
Yes I know... It's Predator but I did laugh when I probably shouldn't have.

Re: What did you watch last night?

Frasier is BRILLIANT. I revisited it on Netflix a few years ago when I there was sod-all on TV when I awaiting my work permit. I must admit it does go downhill after a certain event but it's first 7-8 seasons are immense. Amongst the best sit-coms ever. Speaking of Rosie Perez. I watched White Men C...

The Impossible . Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts star as the emotionally torn parents of 3 boys vacationing in Thailand that was hit by the dreadful tsunami of Boxing Day 2004. Emotional and fascinating. Beautifully directed and acted. One of the best films I've seen in a few years. Definitely worth ...
