Re: West Ham Utd v Bournemouth: match thread (18/8)
Buzzing for this, first proper chance to see what the team can do, a win absolutely necessary to regain confidence and not start falling behind. Fabianski Fredericks-Diop-Ogbonna-Cresswell Sanchez-Noble Yarmolenko-Wilshere-Anderson Arnautovic 3-1 win, goal difference back on track and a couple of po...

I'd put Chelsea up there.
Kante, Jorginho and Kovacic in midfield should get them back into the top 4.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- Deadline day
to be honest, why waste money just because everyone else is buying? Competition for places and to show the current group of players the club has ambition? One world class player would have been enough. They've only won the Carling Cup in the last 20 years, 2 more seasons without a trophy and the cu...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 3 days remaining
7th and Europe should be the aim or winning a cup and getting into Europe that way. Progress after that should be having a squad with enough depth and quality to go deeper in the Europa League and still compete in the top half of the Prem. We were at the 1st part 2 years ago, we won't have made prog...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 3 days remaining
Also can anyone tell me how can Fulham & Wolves spend what they have without it interfering with FFP? Any club who has spent 4 or 5 years in the Prem will have wage bills approaching £100m a year. Newly promoted clubs will have wage bills around £15m a year with £120m to come in TV money. It's ...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 7 days remaining
Both seem to have many admirers and we have not seen the best of either of them yet in my opinion. Letting them go would be a huge mistake. Which is exactly what their agent wants the owners to think so he can get a nice little percentage from a new contract. Oxford - Atletico Madrid, Man United, A...

As I said before, he knuckled down with the Germans, broke into the first team and then was hooked back to London to provide cover in a cup game. He was then loaned back to the German side and had to start over. He took his opportunity as far as I am concerned, it was us that prevented him from rea...

From a source within Palace, Meyer all but complete. Only medical to go. Remarkable how quickly a window can do a 180. Palace looked like us at Christmas. Now bringing in some strong signings with Cheiko and Meyer. Antonio to follow? Unless this indicates Zaha is off to Spurs... They've stood still...

Adrian, no brainer.
5 years here, I'd like to see him reach 10 and get a testimonial.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018--9 days remaining
Kouyate was one of my favourite players at one point, capable of 3 or 4 world class performances a season but then his toblerone toes would let him down for the rest of it.
Definitely wouldn't see him as a threat when we play them next.
Good luck Cheik

Tom Ince just went for £12 mill. He was a squad player at Stoke He's just joined Stoke, from Huddersfield where he played 2500 league minutes. 68 goals and 44 assists in 184 Championship games, that's why he's worth every penny of the £10m Stoke have paid, he's a player capable of winning them prom...

Just seen Everton spent £50m on Richarlison.
0 goals and 2 assists in his last 28 games. Be interesting to see if he picks up his form from before that.

The Championship is Tom Ince's bread and butter, he smashes it up in that league.
Even at £10m that's a very smart transfer for Stoke.

Newcastle interested in signing Miguel Almiron. West Ham also looking at Paraguay midfielder but no bids as yet. Atlanta value him at around £20m
Can't say I've ever heard of him.

So far this season , Liverpool [ ground capacity of 54,000 ] have spent £119.70m on three players , in a few days' time they will part with another £66.9m breaking the transfer record for a Goalkeeper , last season Liverpool spent nearly as much on a cente half as our owners have spent on 5 players...
