Re: West Ham Utd v Tottenham: match thread
There is a real sense of malaise about tonight’s fixture after the body blow of Sunday’s defeat. Understandably so, I’m still seething about that penalty decision but it’s been done to death so onwards and upwards. The visit of Tottenham is always a highlight of the season for me and more than any o...

Chris Cross, the mighty Ultravox's bass player. Died 25 March, announced today. He was 71. https://www.loudersound.com/news/ultravox-bassist-chris-cross-has-died-aged-71 Jeezo, there goes another of my heroes. I adored Ultravox in the late 70’s and early 80’s and have all their LP’s. Only saw them ...

Re: This Town [BBC]
Has a bit of Our friends in the north feel about it. Hoping for a gear change in Ep 3. Yep. Definitely has that OFITN feel to it :newthumb: After a promising opening episode, I think last nights second instalment definitely stepped it up a gear. The poetic commentary from Dante has a touch of Benja...

Re: the dinner thread
Went traditional yesterday with a Leg of Lamb for Easter Sunday roast. Lamb has always been my favourite but it’s so expensive these days it has become more of a treat. Even on half price special offer it was £18, but worth it. (Slow)Cooked to perfection by Mrs CRS with roast tatties, parsnips, caul...

**** off Shearer Laughing at the penalty decision on MOTD2 The more I see that ridiculous decision the higher my blood pressure rises. We’ve been dealt some proper **** decisions this season but this one just beggars all belief. Whatever anyone says, without that gift of a penalty, the Geordie maggo...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
I’ve been pro Moyes almost entirely throughout his tenure. I’ve had a couple of wobbles along the way but have never felt an inclination to press the eject button. He won’t be here next season I’m convinced he’s made his mind up about that. He’s raised our profile, brought successive European advent...

Re: What did you watch last night?
Gogglebox has been a favourite in the CRS house for as long as it’s been on. Simple formula that works superbly because the characters are so good. Some have been tried and rejected when they don’t work out and some have left of their own accord and some sadly, have passed away over the years but w...

Unbelievable. Not a ****ing word mentioned about that ridiculous penalty decision on MOTD, not one ****ing second spent analysing it. If it was against any Top 6 team that would have 20 different angles to phorensically digest yet another unfathomable pieces of VAR bull****.
