FFS get Antonio off. Body and brain of a heavyweight boxer.

Game is there for the taking with a counter attack, just need the right personnel on.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Queue to get over the bridge through security was an absolute disgrace today, we arrived at 11:50 AM, queues were right back to the end of the barriers, took us a good 20 minutes to get through, possibly longer. Heaven forbid if anyone wanted to commit an act of terrorism, herding 5000 people into a...

West Ham United 1-1 Leicester City (24/11/17)

The London Stadium. Friday 24th November. 8pm.

Sorry, couldn't find a match thread so started one.

Whatever team is selected, if Zaba is right back against Vardy running the channel inside him, it will not end well.

Re: Andy Carroll

He MUST be moved on in January for the following key reasons: 1. He is a walking liability when it comes to picking up cards; yellow and red, and getting on the wrong side of the referee very quickly. 2. As a team we revert to an outdated and largely ineffective style of football when he starts; the...

Re: Watford v West Ham Utd: match thread

Long diagonals towards Carroll are not the way forward.

Need to put the ball in from wide positions, with this formation that's largely down to our full backs, who aren't getting forward much and won't from a back 4.

Formation and tactics a bit of a muddle. Disappointed, but granted early days.

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

So just reading another thread about the 'three questions', one of which was who would be the club captain. Got me thinking about how Noble has been consistently selected by all the managers he has played under, despite the misgivings of a significant section of the fan base. I wonder how Moyes will...

Just back from Spain where I had the pleasure of seeing Barcelona play in the Nou Camp and Messi score his 100th European goal. Can't wait for tonight's match to see how football should really be played.

Re: Andy Carroll

Really dismayed today (Swansea) that in the first half every time our fullbacks got the ball to distribute, our entire midfield started jogging away from them, more often than not failing to show for a pass between them. Clearly part of a game plan that was to bypass the midfield and go straight to ...

Re: West ham United v Tottenham Hotspur: Match Thread

Carroll killed this game in a heartbeat. You could see the other players were gutted Antonio was injured Bilic killed it with the sub. The formation was working with two runners of Hernandez. Spurs couldn't take liberties and press too high up the pitch because we had runners behind. With Caroll th...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017

According to reports today both Newcastle and Sunderland are sniffing around Snodgrass... and Celtic were being mentioned as possible suitors yesterday... Great to have a market: Celtic = Snodgrass +£20m for Dembele Sunderland = Snodgrass + zero for Kone . No thanks. Newcastle = Snodgrass + £5m for...

Re: West Ham Utd vs Tottenham: match thread

I think we should be disappointed with anything less than a +2 GD in this game, I reckon 3-1, Calleri 2 and Masuaku to ping one top bins. They're just pulling a Leicester, Arsenal laid down for this bunch of mugs, and we can take them apart. This win is the start of our comeback, we build on this, ...

Gareth Southgate declares early he's visiting the LS to watch an in form AC against West Brom.

AC, not 100% having felt a twinge last game, plays despite this and gives his all to impress.

Anyone else have a horrible feeling what comes next?
