Re: A £20 million plus striker: The summer transfer thread
After the tournament payet is having I'm not apart from the elite few who would ever be able to displace him as our main man.....seems like lazy journalism

Re: A £20 million plus striker: The summer transfer thread
Maybe Sullivan is saying that they have 30m to spend because the striker they want may be more than 30m otherwise and if he says from the off 30m is tops then it may tempt a deal for a slightly lower amount? May be wishful thinking but he is a successful business and is no idiot when it comes to bus...

Re: A £20 million plus striker: The summer transfer thread
Not entirely sure why our defence gets so much stick. I certainly don't feel we need to spend on a new centre back at all and would be more than happy with Collins/oggy/tomka/Reid and both Reece's getting more game time. We go need cover for lb and rb though. Game after game our defence gets out und...

Re: A £20 million plus striker: The summer transfer thread
Fair enough defence has made mistakes but in my opinion with all the players going gung Ho up front they are often left terribly exposed. None of our midfielders are happy to sit back and help defence out and I think this needs to get addressed.

Re: West Ham United v Arsenal: Match Thread
What a great game! Unfortunately, as always seems to be the case the officials got a lot wrong, but we could have scored a few more. Lanzinis goal should have scored, period. That would have set the tone for the rest of the game and with us scoring early I would have expected us to dominate entirely...

On my way home from Upton Park now; what a game, what atmosphere! Have to ask though, were Tottenham that bad or were we that good?!

Re: West Ham Utd vs Tottenham: Match Thread (02/03/16 19:45)
Just wondering if a slight formation change is needed with us not having a proper rb (Antonio can do a job but this is Tottenham....) depends on if Reid is fit but perhaps..... Adrian Reid. Collins. Ogbonna Antonio. Song. Cresswell Noble. Kouyate Payet. Emineke

Re: January 2016 Transfer Rumours
I wonder if Atletico Madrid's interest in Tore may force our hand. I can't imagine Bilic would want to miss out on him. Maybe we could offer to loan him back for the rest of the season, obviously though given the choice he would pick Madrid all day long. Here's to hoping. I sure do hope we make a r...

Re: January 2016 Transfer Rumours
If coming on loan we still have to pay his wages don't we? Not saying it's true, just forwarding information. Maybe they didn't want to pay the same wages as what he has at his home club idkFaubert's Boot wrote:

Just read on a West Ham fan page on Facebook that emineke deal might be off as his wage demands are too high

Re: January 2016 Transfer Rumours
Did Besiktas not straight up say that they won't sell tore in January and to come back in the summer or is this all talk to drive the price up?
