Re: West Ham United Vs Man City COC sf 2nd leg MT

Cole is one in a long line of mediocrity I'm afraid. Most of our signings in the last 18 months have been dire. (Diarra, Jarvis, Rat, Maiga..........jesus, no wonder we are in shtuk).

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

Hoddle has been out of the game for too long for me.

I can't see him with the Dildo brothers either.

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

I do wonder if the OS has another big twist in the tail that G and S know is coming and are now cutting their losses.

They just seem to have given up. I bet Brady CBE jumps ship soon too.

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

If we signed Diouf...then twist.

That would almost seem like he was trying to make his position untenable so he can get his four million.

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

some of the negative helmets we now seem to have as 'supporters' - many of whom seem to think we are Real Madrid and have similar funds. Are these the negative helmets who pay top four prices so we can "compete with Arsenal" according to Mr Gold? I'm not one to knock Sam but the board can...

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

I think he's resigned to the fact that we are running out of time. He knows that the window so far has gone massively tits up, the board aren't going to give him any money and he spent Monday begging for a player to get a work permit who then as soon as it was granted stuck two fingers up at him and...

Hmmm...Bony for Swansea, Holt for Villa and Lambert for Soton.....who do Villa have who we have either been linked with or failed to sign?

Re: West Ham Utd v Newcastle Utd: Match Thread

We can't keep saying we'll be okay....you need to go on a run and haven't ever looked like winning a few on yhe trot.

Coupled with defeats and draws to the clubs around us I can only see the drop once again.

I think that the board see it too to be honest.

Re: West Ham Utd v Newcastle Utd: Match Thread

Posted this on the other thread but I like to know: Out of West Ham's starting X1 today, how many would get in the Newcastle side? On paper Newcastle have got a cracking side, on paper top six. The 2nd half today proved to me,that we have enough about us this season to stay up. COYI And I wonder wh...

Re: West Ham Utd v Newcastle Utd: Match Thread

We only had one player in midfield today and that was Downing. The rest were pretty poor I thought.

Re: West Ham Utd v Newcastle Utd: Match Thread

Worst moment for me was when we had the ball with no pressure...Rat looked up and hoofed it 60 yards straight into their back four with no West Ham Player within 20 yards of them. Their CB took it down, strolled forward and knocked it to their midfield to set up another attack. I feel sorry for Nobl...

Re: West Ham Utd v Newcastle Utd: Match Thread

We have to remember as well this Newcastle side is quality. Players like Sissoko, Tiote, Remy, Cabaye... they have on paper a top six side there. They have a really good side and they are quality signings. Their scouting team in France is top notch. Remy apart as a loanee....did any of them cost as...

Re: West Ham Utd v Newcastle Utd: Match Thread

Taylor and Downing played well. Felt sorry for Taylor being shoved in at RB but he linked up nicely with Downing who was a constant threat. Jarvis was awful and then Cole came on and somehow managed to make him look like Ronaldo. The pair of them have been awful signings. Carroll missed a sitter and...
