Re: ⚽ Southampton v West Ham Utd: match thread
The front 3 is a mistake devoid of pace where they play with such a high press there is space behind but we don’t have players on the field to take advantage of it

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Aston Villa: match thread
We only actually played for about 4 mins, got two goals and didn’t do much else. It wasn’t pretty and Villa had the lions share (pun not intended) of the game.I was surprised to see Moyes change things at half time but glad he did. I didn’t expect after 10 games to be sat 5th and Moyes and the team ...

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Aston Villa: match thread
We started on the front foot earned a goal then just sat back, handed the game over to Villa. You can’t score in the first two mins then try to defend it for the remainder it’s where the defence first mentality of the manager effects our play likewise when we get the ball they press, when they have ...

Re: ⚽ Everton v West Ham Utd: EFL Cup Rd of 16 match thread
very dependent on what first 11's are put out, Everton have a strong first side I cant say I know much about their 'reserves' where we have a expensive yet under performing 'second' string of attackers and a young inexperienced defense.

Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Thread
Given the past when we had various club 'sources' discussing our inner working I quite like the radio silence from the club regarding transfers * IF * we had been bringing players in. You can be sure if they had been adding to the scouting staff and network a song and dance would have been made from...

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Newcastle Utd: match thread
Can’t see much wrong with going with the same lineup that finished last season strongly, though I’d have Fornals or Lanzini in place of Noble and Anderson on the wing.
I like Fornals as a player but isn’t a winger.

Re: Gold & Sullivan
Would that be the chap who mentioned Noble coming out in defence of how they treated Collins and then the host went on some rant of how Collins and Diangana wouldn’t fix our problems? Then about how Noble and Wilshire should just be manager, owner etc

Re: Gold & Sullivan
Getting another airing on Talksport this evening. I expect only on there as they know the fans are riled up and can get people to call in, strange they never invite hammers united or anyone else of that ilk on.

Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Thread
I despair with this lot I really do. The only 'exciting' prospect we have in the squad and (potentially) sell him on the cheap to a rival.
Starting to wonder whats the point? next level

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd vs Aston Villa: match thread
Our lot didn’t even give it a go. Any time we got near their box we turned around and came back as if there was some agreement in place. Villa defended in numbers but there were numerous times we could have played forwards and instead went backwards. Perhaps an overly relaxed performance from our lo...

Re: ⚽ Norwich City v West Ham Utd: match thread
Glad we got a second in that half as always feel we’re seconds away from conceding, I’d like to see now the players enjoy themselves a bit push on rather than just sit back on 2-0

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Burnley: match thread
In spite of the social media melt down I don't feel we were THAT bad, we have an inherent problem when trying to break down teams and that has been the way for as long as I can remember to the point we move the ball around the box a little then just launch in a cross regardless of having players in ...

Re: Sayonara, Socios
good point made in your video UTJ, I understand the point of these partnerships is to elevate brands so it's to be expected to have some unknowns in the bunch but we have many shall we say 'questionable' partnerships that vanish within 6 months I wonder what each side get out of it?

I fear this will be even less of a derby without the fans, two international elevens playing in a silent stadium
We desperately need points regardless of the opposition.

I only paid £24 for 6 of us to go... even that was too much for what was served up. Absolutely abysmal performance.

Taking all 4 kids and the wife... not quite sure why, I must be mad! still only cost me £24; cheaper than the cinema and a day out in that there London with the family.
hopefully some light relief from the league, I dont expect much though.

Re: Who Next? The odds
I think the bigger question is who is prepared to work under these owners? It’s all well and good wishing for x y & z but Given the lack of squad depth, meddling in transfers, sly leaks, Brady’s column, lowballing transfer offers.... I could go on. I know people laugh at the mention football vid...
