Re: The weather

We were meant to go on holiday yesterday to Embo in Sutherland but had to put it off for a couple of days due to having to attend the funeral of a good friend this morning / afternoon . It looks like Ivan Toney's gonna get a game. I hope we sign him, but let's face it, he's not international class, is he ? If he were Bulgarian, or Azerbaijani, or Maltese, or something, he would already have about 50 caps to his name

So son of John, >or John's son - Johnson. For what it's worth. We used to know a family by that name we use...

I know Finland has the highest number of dickheads per square mile of any country in the world and China the second highest. I read that somewhere

Re: England -v- Brazil (C4 from 1900)

Brazil and Paq man in particular, made a pretty good job of neutering any threat from Bellingham to the point he became very frustrated by it all and started remonstrating with the ref, who gave him little protection. Just a point, but it might be a point which might be noted by Continental managers...

Re: England -v- Brazil (C4 from 1900)

It was good to see Paqueta show some aggression, we will face this in the Euros so need to get used to it. You could argue that as it was a friendly then the ref was more lenient but we need to be prepared for this sort of thing. Yes i liked his marauding around the pitch fouling players. Showed re...

You know those player ratings whatsit/ thingys they do in the press to summarise player performamces? Well, today's ' Mail on Sunday' were pretty disparaging about Conor Gallagher, who I thought was ****ing awful. Assessing him, thus:- 'Saw lots of the ball but was outfoxed a couple of times, leadin...

Re: England -v- Brazil (C4 from 1900)

So predictable he wanted a minder for Rice. Why? No change of shape, too many subs. It’s Brazil. Just learn how to win against the top teams. The last 20 minutes was players afraid to give the ball away. Bowen did well until ‘Gareth’ put him up top and we lost width. Rice the best player on the pit...
