I love him! And if we could pair him with a goalscoring partner, I'd love him even more.

How long before he’s Arsenal’s captain? Sometime this season I reckon.

Re: Declan Rice

Wow, a lot of hate around here today. I guess Arsenal is the choice you make when you want to stay in London and play in the Champions League, because I can’t think of any other reason to go there. The only place I think he really should have gone is City but I guess that either wasn’t an option or ...

Re: Declan Rice

Can't take too much from a pitch-side interview when full of emotion, but it sounded to me like he's not certain he's leaving. Which would be nice.

Re: Summer Rebuild 2: Electric Boogaloo

I want Rice to stay, of course, but worth remembering that he’s been here all of this season and we nearly got relegated so this is about more than Rice.

Re: West Ham United vs K.A.A. Gent: match thread

Just watched the second half of AK v Anderlecht, now into extra time, and I’m more worried about Gent than either of them. How they managed four goals between them so far is a mystery. If we get that far and I could choose the opponent I’d go for Anderlecht who are making Vertonghen look like a supe...

Re: West Ham United v Arsenal match thread

Great result for us and Man City.

From the replays, looked to me like Fabs could have done better for both their goals and our defenders were all too busy watching the ball to see their man getting into a dangerous position.

Re: West Ham United v Arsenal match thread

They’re going to see this as an opportunity to improve their GD in case that’s what it comes down do in their fight with Man City so they’re going to come out wanting to score lots of goals - and I don’t think we can stop them.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Bit weird all this media about him (maybe) getting the elbow if we lose to Fulham. We all know there's some reason why they can't or don't want to get rid before the season ends, otherwise he'd have been toast a long time ago so I guess this is just the board thinking they can't keep ignoring the el...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

We are strangely immovable. Others are climbing or dropping - we just seem to sit in 16th , as we were at Christmas. True, but you know what's going to happen, don't you. We'll be 'strangely immovable' and then drop into the relegation zone right when it's too late for anyone to do anything about i...

Is he still our manager? He should have gone before the World Cup. The longer we wait, the deeper we sink.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

The only thing that would excuse this level of incompetent inaction by our owners is that they have got Guardiola lined up after a shock resignation from City at the end of this season.
