Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
You know Steve cooper has been at a few of our games now. That is who will replace Moyes As for that group of vile non going match fans in that video on social they are not fans, they have no insider knowledge they are just trying to be like talk sport. Talk enough bullocks and hate and it will get...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Nagelsmann is favourite... but he is 3/1 according to a betting website in 2nd Lord knows what he has done tbh An albeit impressive 6th placed finish, followed by crashing out of Europe and currently in 10th. Moyes' record is genuinely better. We're only actually 8 points behind the tally that got ...

What has De Zerbi done to get the Bayern job?! Surely they aim higher.westlondonhammer wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 4:39 pm If De Zerbi goes Bayern... I wouldn't be surprised to see Potter back at Brighton.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Speaking of other coaches. I’ve never been a big advocate for Potter and I don’t particularly want him here but he might make the most logical sense. Thinking back to what he took over at Brighton, a defensively solid Hughton side that had achieved a lot by their standards. He immediately improved ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
. Or Sullivan will just go back to type and get someone he likes, and we'll be playing decent football for 6 months, not back the manager totally, get smashed and finish bottom half, then like a round about, go back to a solid Moyes, Big Sam type 1-2 years later and continue the merry go round. Unf...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
This transfer spending myth isn't helping either. You can quote £400m all you want. One, it's not the real number, and two, split over his entire tenure it's a pretty poor level of spend. £216m net over the last four seasons. Just over £50m a year. People talk like he's spent fortunes. Pellegrini sp...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
If ,as seems likely ,we don't get Europe for next season then motes must go .the style of play is awful, when was the last yime we bossed a game. Every team has more shots etc than us . Dire foitball and not winning means one thing.bew manager required This is such a daft way of deciding on a manag...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)
Unfortunately our best hope is probably being able to claim we were the only team to beat Leverkusen this season, winning by three though, it just doesn’t seem at all likely. Really hope they don’t score an early goal, or it will feel a bit like after we conceded following Creswell’s sending off in...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
Plenty of CBs possibly available in the summer. Tosin - free transfer from Fulham, may want to stay in London. Mengi - only 21, has looked good for Luton, might be a good price if they go down. Jake O'Brien - Perhaps we could wrangle him as part of the Benrahma deal. A solid breakout season in France.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
If Moyes stays then Kudus centrally makes sense playing like Lingard. Also Bowen isn't suited to his CF role. So a LW and CF funded by Paqueta would make us more balanced. Defence rebuild as part of normal transfer business. Considering we pocketed some of the Rice/Scamacca money I'm not counting o...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Kudus is obviously a cracking player and he has scored some great goals this season. Can't take anything away from him. That said, signing Kudus to play in the same position as arguably our best player (Bowen) might not have been the best way to spend £40m . I suppose the real problem is we should ...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
Or possibly change to a manager who won't have the defenders actually defending for 90% of the game. Our system would ruin defenders much better than the ones we have at the moment. The same could be said for strikers. Seems every single one of our players is excused their poor performances as it's ...

Allardyce, Bilic and Pellegrini have all been screwed in the transfer market, none of them walked either.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
What has the depth of the squad and the constant need for replacements for players like Fornals and Benrahma got to do with winning the ECL? Exactly, nothing. Was the signing of Philipps last winter the decision of DS? And is DS also to blame for starting the season with only one striker last summe...
