Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

If any club needed a new manager boost who can come in and nab a couple of quick wins then its us.

I think Moyes will take us down. Which is why I'd rather gamble now before it really is too late.

Re: Little things in life that make you smile

Walked past a geezer in Sainsbury's (Peterborough) today, he was wearing our shirt from about 20 years ago.

Couldn't resist a 'Come on you Irons' as I walked past him, got a simple smile and nod.

May seem like nothing but little things like that brighten the day up.

Since starting this thread I've still managed to avoid wine completely (apart from one of those individual small bottles that I emptied into a beef casserole). Anyway, wine is evil stuff, I could never not finish a bottle and often opened a 2nd, would always fell asleep early and would then wake at ...

Think that's the first game I've ever seen where neither team had a manager on the bench.

Re: Little things that irritate you

Milk. Well milk prices. £1.30 in the local Tesco for 2 pints (65p a pint) or £1.65 for 4 pints (41p a pint). At those prices I, (as I assume many would), will always buy the 4 pinter as the difference makes it a no brainer. Yet always end up throwing about a pint out as it doesn't all get used due t...

Re: Little things that irritate you

Sports Direct. I know. Took my lad there last year to get him his first pair of football boots. Picked a pair in the price range but when we got to the counter found out they were £20 more than the display. After some investigation apparently they had the wrong one on display, something to do with a...

The only song I'm not over keen on is the 'We're winning away' one. I did like the home fans response to it though :crylol:

Re: ⚽ Derby County v West Ham Utd: match thread

Also there was a game played too, which WHU won at a canter. Soucek stood out, but Aguerd is a Rolls Royce of a footballer and never looked flustered. Indeed it was, pretty much agree with all of that, especially Aguerd. An absolute gem. Shame I missed you tonight boss, think you caught up with my ...

Re: Sobriety

I just made a massive sausage and bacon sammo with a fresh poppy seeded baguette from Sainsbury's. Which was heavily buttered. Good dollop of brown over the top and washed down with a couple of bottles of real ale.

Unhealthy? Yes. But we won today and that deserves a treat.

Carrying on the IT discussion I'm currently PM'ing a project (and tech lead) to migrate our deployments from SCCM into AutoPilot and Intune. Bittersweet as SCCM has been my bread and butter since the early days of SMS back at the turn of the century. No worries, still have plenty of things that irri...

Re: What are you playing right now?

Zombie Army 4 along with Sniper Elite 5.

Both games from the same stable so mechanics are similar.

Zombie is a shooter gore fest whilst Sniper is much calmer. Great combo to choose from depending on my mood.

Thinking about shutting down all my cloud back up services to save some money. Is there any way someone can set up their own backing up system, i.e. personal server, or something? Don't understand IT so any help needs to be for stupid people, with no, or little technical talk. Cheers. Really depend...
