Re: Brexit referendum result aftermath
Parliament is "stuffed full" of the MPs that the public voted for in 2017 - a year after the referendum. The public gets what the public wants. I don't think it does. I don't get a say in the General Election. OK I have my vote the same as everybody. But I live in a seat where they could ...

Re: Brexit referendum result aftermath
I don't think so (I don't really care), this could very well be the end of the Conservative party as we know and love it, and I can't see any sane politician wanting to take her place at the head of this debacle. ..so ....Gove vs. Boris , then.... This should be the end of both main parties and the...

Re: Brexit referendum result aftermath
It's clearly not what we signed up for otherwise we'd be leaving on the 29th as planned. Please see my above reply. I have seen a lot of people angry that we are not leaving on 29th as if that is what was voted for. It is not what was voted for, it was the date decided upon by Theresa May and her g...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Do people generally think the carpet is a good thing? I ask because I have seen it mentioned on here, sometimes as a great thing. I just dont understand, what difference will it actually make to anything at all? I am suffering from the fear of missing something so be gentle. I'm with you mushy. I d...

^^^ The stewards do stop people trying to get back in at the end of the game. Try pleading with the steward that you've just come out and only now that you're out that your daughter is desperate for the toilet. My wife is taking my son to this game and using my season ticket. I'm trying to put her off, but she want to know what all the fuss is about when me and my son come home buzzing! I am going to hang around for them outside entrance E with my daughter. Does anyone know how long before the final whist...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham Utd: match thread (27/02)
Now you are being a bit overly critical IMHO. Shearer is an awful pundit and a complete helemt, and he was wrong about the penalty IMHO, but Manchester City did deserve to win. They had nearly 80% possession, 20 shots vs 2, 7 on target vs 1 and hit the woodwork a couple of times We were extremely u...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham Utd: match thread (27/02)
The line that got me on MOTD was that twonk Shearer saying "City deserved to win" as if that put paid to any penalty debate. Well I am sorry Alan but the team that scores the most goals is the team that deserves to win and Man City scored from a penalty that was a dive, so no they didn't d...

Best keeper we have had in many years. Easily as good as Green IMO.
He is the best signing we made in the summer.

And there we have it, barely mentioned and quickly brushed under the carpet. If that was a pen against one of the big teams that cost them points it would have been replayed about 10 times. They didn't sho the close up angle that clearly shows Silva moving his leg out to the side and then going dow...

We put on a gutsy defensive performance against one of the best teams in Europe. I'm proud of the lads but have just feel so gutted about the dodgy penalty. If one of their megastars had beaten us with a wonder goal it wouldn't have felt so bad.
