Bit dramatic isn't it?
Today was a good day.
no, it's what i was describing earlier. there's no pure elation and moments of crushing disaster, everything is deferred. all i think about now when a goal goes in is how and if it's going to be disallowed.

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United - match thread

it's probably the first time i've seen that decision given which wasn't predicated by the keeper and half the team running up to the ref and pissing in his ear about it. maybe that's why they gave it? If you were shown a side-on image of that Cuencs surely all that shows is an attacker technically o...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I’ve seen a fair few people saying that, should Moyes go, they wouldn’t mind seeing Gary O’Neil get the gig. I wonder what the reaction would be if, whilst WHU manager, he was leading 1-0 at half time against a team playing absolute dog ****, sat back in the second half and only come out to play ag...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Correct. The first half was abysmal and classic from the manager. He rarely changes things up at half time, he did today, got the win, and deserves credit for it. i fear the first halves where we are just quite bad more than when we're awful. for the former it can drag on until 70 minutes, whereas ...

i thought he was awful. blew for everything, never let the game flow, got at least two of the big decisions wrong.

i love when a player goes down early doors and the ref makes it clear he's having none of it.

ait nouri coming off killed them. bloke ran the show for the first half.

looks like the players are protesting how they've been set up.

antonio on for the second half and we'll be unrecognisable.

Ref probably did us a favour, we'll snap into life now the tired and hopeless plan to ruin a game of football has gone out the window.

I'm not exactly sure what they plan to counter us with though.

Reckon they'll happily play for a point.

Missing their three best attackers. Don't see their threat at all.

No excuses for this one.

Re: West Ham Utd v Tottenham: match thread

people criticising antonio for the miss, if that goes in VAR 100% pulls it back for a free kick for spurs right on the edge of our box.

Re: West Ham Utd v Tottenham: match thread

i was thinking about what our team would look like with 10 injuries (half of which to first XI players) and a season long ban to our record transfer like newcastle.

we've yet to win a game without both paqueta and alvarez on the pitch.

Re: West Ham Utd v Tottenham: match thread

I have an irrational hatred for that guy. Might be the shape of his head. he is very, very spurs. if it wasn't a footballer he'd be pulling up to work in his leased audi, do a line of charlie off the dash and then con a couple who can't speak english into renting a flat in loughton with no windows ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Moyes - “yeh, I would’ve taken it (a point) before the game” Irrespective of my thoughts on his future here, I just don’t like the manager of West Ham having that attitude, home game, under the lights in a derby, doesn’t sit right with me i feel like those are the words of a manager trying to buff ...

Re: West Ham Utd v Tottenham: match thread

thought both teams were just okay. i thought we'd have more clear cut breakaways against their high line, i thought they'd actually manage to work fabianski after the first 5 minutes but seemed to think they could cash in 50 touches in the box for a goal at the prize counter. i really did fancy us s...
