Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I genuinely don’t understand all this Moyes In / Moyes Out / camps / brigades talk. It seems to exist in the netherworld of social media. In real life you talk to someone down the pub before or after a game and hear a whole range of opinion and discussion. Swallows hard, suppresses lump in throat.....

Tbf to you Wilko, you always give a balanced opinion,so nobody could ever knock you for being biased. He does... There are many on here who are basically pro David Moyes. His record deserves the upmost respect. He has done incredibly well for us. There are things that people can be critical o...

Yep...

Poke the draw into the bottom of the "satchel".

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

For me the walk to the ground was also so important. And interesting to see so many posters mentioning this too. You could feel the buzz. Started seeing a few claret and blue shirts on the tube, then out at Plaistow or UP, couple pints and a burger from a van, and seeing all the people heading in, ...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Tremendous Upton Park coloured glasses in some posts. Upton Park was the greatest stadium I've ever attended. Band playing. Atmosphere you could literally cut with the obligatory knife. It ended. I especially remember a game v Stoke City. Carlton scored (from memory). Think we won 2-1. I should have...

My perfect hours of light would be...

Light from 7am - 10pm.

Pitch black from 10pm - 7am.

A nature light switch may need to be involved.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I do actually understand some of the finer detail arguments that are pointed at with Moyes . I get it, I get them. I agree with some of them. And see why they pop up in the thought process of otherwise pro-Moyes supporters as well as the unmovable out brigade. But they don't really don't put a pin p...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

It's all about results. Don't let anybody kid you on any different. If West HaM win I'm happy. If West HaM lose I'm miserable. How we get there is of little meaning. The style of play will buy any manager a negligible amount of extra time to turn bad results around. The same people moaning about sty...

Me too...

For family reasons it was the worst result in his tenure for me. Hurt bad that.

Always been basically in the pro Moyes camp. Tested me that result. Time fades the feeling I suppose.

I've never doubted the job he has done.

He makes saves that stop goals that you've already registered in your brain as conceded.
