Masuaku has had a poor game, would never have him in the side above a fit Cresswell

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017

I find myself extremely frustrated with the board today. Not Bilic. He gets no support from our board, either in signings or in the press. They're quick to blame him for everything that goes wrong and take credit for everything that goes right. Ex has been saying for a few weeks that Bilic wanted I...

Re: Little things that irritate you

Driving home from a night shift this morning in thick fog, the number of people driving without their lights on, yet alone fog lights. I almost went into the back of a white van! Idiots.

Re: West Ham United V Manchester City: Match Thread

I'd like to see Toni Martinez on the bench at least, surely a reward for his fantastic goal scoring form for the PL2 squad is due? Must be a little disheartening for him, seeing some of the dross games our strikers have had. Granted it's a big step up, but how else will he learn at the top level. As...

Re: West Ham Utd v Sunderland: match thread

My first home game since Bournemouth, feeling strangely optimistic today which is usually a bad sign!
Think Zaza will score today, as will Defoe. 3-1 to us.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Quick question to the people at the Bournemouth game, as that has been the only game so far with away fan segregation it seems. When the game finished, did anybody in the southeast part of the stadium exit and try to walk towards Bow? Are we allowed or is it cordoned off for the away support to fil...

Re: FC Astra Giurgiu v West Ham United: Match Thread

Absolutely disgraceful. I was looking forward to at least getting into the group stages this season, to go out with such a whimper is shameful. Even if we beat Arsenal on Sunday, it won't make up for this.

Re: Sunderland v West Ham United: Match Thread

To keep the game interesting and fun for us fans right up to the final whistle - a fiver to the first person who gets our possession stat right. I'm going for 23% (head says 19% though) I'm going to be ultra positive and say 37%. I think we'll struggle as Sunderland tend to attack with pace when th...

Re: Stoke vs West Ham Utd: match thread

I'd do anything if i was you to keep out of the Student Union bar...when you come out of the station just blag yourself a cab and say you have a box at the ground. Then go somewhere much nicer. Is it too far to walk from the train station to the ground? It looks like it'll be at least a 30 minute w...

Re: Cardiff v West Ham match thread

I really can't see anything other than another defeat.

Out of interest, does anyone know if we've ever lost three games in three different competitions within the space of a week before?

FA Cup, League Cup and Premier League in this case.

Could be an unwanted first :fsake:

Re: Little things that irritate you

I know its been around for ages, but this season Ive noticed that in televised Premier league matches when they walk out of the tunnel the referee walks up to the camera and picks up the match ball from a plinth! Why? Its so lame! I agree, it is pretty pathetic. I just feel like running onto the pi...

Re: RCD Espanyol v West Ham United: Match Thread

I'm guessing Andy Carroll isn't travelling as he's just tweeted something about enjoying a coffee in Chelmsford, if that's possible. Shame as it would have been a good run out for him.

I'd like to see Elliot Lee and Seb Lletget get some time to see how they do against tougher opposition.

I don't want Vaz Te to leave, but surely Palace should look to buy him if he does leave? They'd be mad not to.

Re: Mainz 05 v West Ham Utd: Match Thread

Cheers, Ricardo. Will be by far our sternest test yet of pre season. I'd like to see Lletget getting some more minutes, at 20 I'm sure he'd have hoped to be playing more first team football by now and he certainly seems promising. They certainly love their American politicians in that part of Mainz ...

It just looks wrong.

Agreed. Especially men who wear them. It mostly seems to be 20-40 year old 'free spirit' surfer types who think they're living in California in the 1960s, when they actually have a boring admin job in Slough and live with their parents.
