Re: Manchester United v West Ham United: Match Thread

I can't believe people saying we didn't create against WBA. Not so much in the 2nd half due to poor tactics, but we could've easily been 3 up by half time. We didn't for 45 minutes of the game. That's my point, the 'tactics' as you say were not great in the second half something we should change by...

And did absolutely nothing with it for the most part. How much of that was due to West Brom being happy to let us play the ball around in front of them?

Re: Manchester United v West Ham United: Match Thread

Adrian
Jenkinson Reid Ogbonna Cresswell
Obiang
Lanzini Noble Kouyate Zarate
Carroll

We need to start getting hold of the ball more, I'd be tempted to start Song in place of Noble/Kouyate for this one as well.

Re: West Ham United Vs West Bromwich Albion

I am surprised Obiang isn't getting more plaudits for his performance, I thought he was excellent in the first half and controlled the ball well for us, best player on the pitch for me in the first half, I hope he makes the DM position his own now.

Bit extreme, we are 6th in the league and have had a tough couple of games against 2 of the most in form sides in the league, before that we beat Chelsea and lost to Watford.

Re: Michail Antonio

Was keeping an eye on him again at half time and once again he cut a lonely, frustrated figure - I really hope we get to see what he can do soon. I found it strange that Bilic brought both Zarate & Jelavic on when the game was up, would have rather seen Song and Antonio get some game time.

Re: Tottenham v West Ham Utd : Match Thread

I think a big problem for us this season is how poorly our full backs are playing, Jenkinson is the obvious one, but Cresswell is having a poor season so far also. It really highlights the need for a RB in January.

Do you think the OB will shut all the pubs around Liverpool street like previously? Hamilton Hall - 100% will be shut. Crosse Keys - Will only let you in if you are not wearing trainers Railway Tavern - Will be open and WHU fans will be drinking on the street corner like last 2 games at WHL. Opposi...

Arsenal did it on away points too. It seems the fairest way.

There would be riots if they did it in order of bands and band 4 got shafted.

No thanks.

We have won 2 of our last 3 visits there and the one we didn't win was due to a last minute soft penalty. We can go there and win again 100%.

Pleased to see Lamela is suspended for the game in a couple of weeks, he looked very decent against Arsenal yesterday.

Re: Watford v West Ham United: Match Thread

Bad day at the office, we move on to next week. I found some of the subs Bilic made very strange. Taking off Moses at half-time seemed harsh, I thought he was beginning to look decent and was getting in behind the full backs a fair amount. Following on from this to bring on both Zarate and Valencia ...

Re: Watford v West Ham United: Match Thread

Last time I went to Vicarage Road we won courtesy of an Anton Ferdinand header to put us in the play offs. Mark Noble was 16/17 at this point and got a great reception from the away end. Looking forward to it massively.

Re: West Ham Utd vs Chelsea: match thread

I'd drop Noble. It's just not working with him and Kouyate You do know we are 4th in the league after 9 games in which Noble and Kouyate have started together in the vast majority, if not all of the games, don't you? I'd go with the following for this game: Adrian Jenkinson Tomkins Collins Cresswel...

Re: Leicester City v West Ham Utd: match thread

Disappointed to go out of the competition so early, particularly after the early Europa League exit. Unfortunately we picked up probably one of the worst draws we could have and got beat fair and square by the better side.
