Re: A place to call home: where next?

My take on surveys is: If you have a survey, they only survey what they can see, they wont go out of their way to look in awkward places. If you have a survey, there is no way of taking action against them in the future, if they have missed something. If you have a builder mate, get him to look, it ...

There are lots of lovely villages in rural Essex, as there are in rural Lincolnshire

Coops wrote: Fri Oct 20, 2023 2:27 pm So if I go to my local double glazing firm, how do I know that the door they fitted will be any good?
If you were fitting a Rockdoor you would need to look for approved fitting companies

Re: Composite front door

I recently had a Rockdoor fitted.
They have a 10 year insurance backed guarantee, which includes burglary cover.
I'm quite happy with the door, authentic looking wood grain & a good choice of colours & a very solid claw type locking mechanism.
So far, so good

If it continues they will just change the pumps, so you pay before the pump starts. Used pumps like that in Spain

Re: Refuse Collections, Waste Management etc...

Our bins don't get emptied very often any more. It's not that they don't try, it's that the local private school doesn't offer any kind of drop-off parking,
Maybe some neighbours should block the road at school time, i'm sure everybody would become interested then!

As they are up for fair play, as well as the Sammy Lee offside, can we have a re-run of the 2006 final, due to lack of sportsmanship?
