Re: The 2016 summer transfer thread -Deadline Day

Throw in an offer to West Brom for Rondon or Sunderland and Defoe

Straight swap Enner and Sakho for either

Re: The 2016 summer transfer thread -Deadline Day

So we possibly have Sakho out to WBA and Valencia to Everton. Does anyone else think that given our luck with injuries we should keep one of them? Well, if we were to keep one it would have to be Enner wouldn't it? He has a good attitude at the very least, and I'm sure using a player who creates a ...

Re: The 2016 summer transfer thread -Deadline Day

National team form has nothing to do with club form though. Look at Eriksen. If you watched him playing for Denmark without knowing who he was you would never guess that he was a good player. True, but comparing a cb (who's role is fairly universal) to an AM who is affected by the system played is ...

Re: The 2016 summer transfer thread -Deadline Day

Let me just say that Nordtveidt is not anywhere near good enough to play cb at PL level.

I've probably seen his every cap for the national team (most as a cb) and think he's had 1 good game.

Re: The 2016 summer transfer thread -Deadline Day

It royaly pisses me off that clubs even bother to deal with sp*rs. Buying under value and never fail to sell way above value. Credit to them, but what kind of nutter would pay £13+ million for Ryan ****ing Mason https://www.dokuwiki.org/lib/images/smileys/icon_lol.gif And Chadli, Bentaleb etc, these...

Lanzini will probably feature quite a bit in a deeper role imo a la Modric/Cazorla

Re: The 2016 summer transfer thread -Deadline Day

I wish we'd gone for Pereyra from Juve, but oh well..

Hope we get Arbeloa signed and if we're able to shift sulkho and Valencia with a replacement would be the dream

Not crazy about Berahino tbh, would much rather Defoe, even with the large age gap!

Re: The 2016 summer transfer thread -Deadline Day

Never been a fan of Arbeloa, and sure he is a dirty fekker, but it's exactly what we need. We are so cute and naive defensively and it's been especially evident in our european ties last two years. I called for an ageing italian right back, but a spanish one will do. We need the experience, and cons...

Re: The 2016 summer transfer thread

You could always try joining in discussing footballing matters properly, Bergen, instead of pointlessly digging me out over one word. We already know many others want words to be starred out because they cause some offence, why not add yet another one.. Mate, was meant as friendly banter :) Sorry i...

Re: The 2016 summer transfer thread

I know there is no chance, but Zabaleta would be perfect for us. Surely there are solid experienced right backs out there somewhere? A player on the older side, shorter contracts, bags of experience, defensively rock solid. It's not the flavour of the month, but it's what we desperately need. Should...

He's wanted to send of Masuaku all game. Every tackle, every little foul has been given a warning. No where near two yellows imo.

5/6 in this thread include a dig at Valencia. I wouldn't mind, today is one of the games he hasn't even been too bad. No need to use him and him only as a ****ing scapegoat. Once again, been worse performances from other players today. Well, my man. Since you went thru my posts on this very thread ...
