Re: The summer 2014 Transfer thread and wish list

Also if others missed it, apparently his good mate Carlton has already sounded him out and he would join however he wanted wages over 100k.

Re: The summer 2014 Transfer thread and wish list

Re: England v Ecuador match thread

Sterlings was one of those over the ball studs in the air challenges though. I do see why he got red. Also Valencia obviously gets his for that reaction. Right decision i think however i think the ref could of just had a word and perhaps booked them both. Also Wilshere loses his head and comes flyin...

Re: England v Ecuador match thread

Defence is ****ing dreadful.

Only Ox and Barkley have really come out with any credit. Obviously a good finish from Lambert but not be in the game.

Listowel 2.05 - Is She Home

Currently a reserve so may not run but is expected to go very close apparently.

Still some 33's about but disappearing rapidly.

Re: The summer 2014 Transfer thread and wish list

The fee for Lambert will be rather large due to the sell on clause for Lallana (providing he goes liverpool too) to Bournemouth i think it was.

Up Lamberts supposed fee = less sell on fee with Lallana who will be valued much less.

Re: The summer 2014 Transfer thread and wish list

Currently we have no left back. So if we got Lescott he would be shoved there which is not his natural position. Obviously it is good he can cover a few positions. We could do alot worse than bringing in Cole who is a big name and sort of a "marquee" signing which the Daves would love. Bar...

Re: The summer 2014 Transfer thread and wish list

I'd rather spend 5 or 6 million in a good mid 20s LB who could potentiallys start for a 5 or 6 years for us than a now injury prone Cole. He's defensively solid as ever, but he won't be bombing up and down the wing anymore. I obviously wouldn't be angry if we signed Cole, but i'm tired of these sho...

Re: The summer 2014 Transfer thread and wish list

We should be all over Cole. Big wages yes, but he is an excellent player and still has a few years left.

To get a decent young left back we would have to pay a few and moderate wages anyway.

I see Russian Realm winning the 3.50 Goodwood. Need it to come in to complete a 10/1 double.

May well cover myself on another horse if any serious market confidence just before the off.

Re: Official Betting Thread

Yeah that never works Screech. Have done it myself and the barstewards cancelled my withdrawal. Also what a farce Warwick is. They need to shut down the course and sort out that bend. Also after running the first race, they run the second after a delay and guess what that means - the entrance fee is...
