Re: Greatest African Player of all Time?
One of Eto'o or Drogba for sure. Eto'o at his peak was unbelievable.

Re: January transfer window
Phillips replacing Soucek in our main first 11 dramatically upgrades it from a footballing POV, it also helps for now with our injury crisis and allows us to play JWP as a 10 for a few games until we get Paqueta back rather than sitting deep where I think he's less effective.

Re: Callum Marshall
I'd of given him minutes over Mubama, from the (admittedly) little I've seen of him, he looks far more promising. Mubama doesn't offer enough for me in the way Antonio does off the ball, and he's not a predatory natural goalscorer either. I think the main reason Mubama has been more minutes is due t...

Re: ✍ Welcome Danny Ings
Needs an extended run of games, while it's a dogshit situation if we're losing Bowen for 3 months, if Ings can come into form there's still a player in there for sure. If it comes to the end of the season and he's somehow managed 10 goals we'll have no problem shifting him, which helps. I'd like to ...

Pretty concerning that after a scan we're still not 100% sure how long Bowen will be out for..

Cornet for Fornals the obvious choice.Morocco Mole wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2024 9:08 pm No out ball on the left now. Handed the initiative to them.

Only reason I can see is Fornals is probably the better option for playing someone through. Definitely not the choice I'd of made though.Bernie_Lama wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2024 9:00 pm how is is fornals staying on the pitch. benhrama has been way better than him

Agreed, he's warming up nicely to this aswell, Fornals has been fairly quiet.Morocco Mole wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2024 8:58 pm Joke if Benrahma comes off before Fornals. No wonder his confidence is shot to bits.

Either gonna shithouse our way to a 1-0 win or lose 2 or 3 getting sucker punched on the counter after they score the opener.

Real shame no Paq or Kudus for this one, we've missed their guile, Brighton are definitely susceptable at the back.

So painful watching him bringing the ball out from deep, spells disaster for me. I'd rather someone like Oggy pumps it long.

Probably trying to get Benny up and running given Paqueta may be out for a while, backfired but shows the trust.mental hamster666 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2023 11:07 pm Kinda wondering why he didn't take tonight's penalty, be good to give him another goal. Re: Liverpool v West Ham United: match thread
They've got Arsenal at home 3 days after this game, win that and they have a real good chance at the title this season and are top at Christmas, lose that and Arsenal could be 4 points clear of them for Xmas. If they don't rest some of their x11 I'll be shocked. They played a very much second string...

Anyone know where I can get a repeat of the whole game?.....fell asleep  You can skip the majority of the second half, both teams seemed happy enough with the result.
