Re: January transfer window

I reckon he'll step up after being welcomed home. He has speed and ability and, unlike Benrahma, can beat his man and get the ball into the box.

Re: Posters you remember / miss

I hope warp is okay. I feel bad about the never ending cliched gags about his mother. I hope he didn’t take it personally. I heard that Warp and Rars started going to Palace because they liked the idea of being an ultra. I'm positive that I saw them holding up either end of one of those really cool...

The 7 year old did his first one today in 30 minutes.

Re: US roadtrip

Vancouver and the surrounding area are fantastic - went there about 30 years ago whilst travelling round the States. We sailed through the islands around Vancouver Island with my wife’s uncle who was a yacht broker and it was good to see it from a different perspective. Whistler is good, as is the ...

Perhaps go in 2026 and catch a world cup game or two. It's all good over there UTJ. Every place is worth visiting if you're prepared to make the most of it. LA, although a bit down and out (like a lot of cities over there the last decade or so), is still a decent place to visit. There's the ultra to...

Re: Liverpool v West Ham United: match thread

That was an embarassing display yesterday. From the very first goal where no one put in a real challenge, the players looked disinterested. When I saw the lineup at 7pm I, like you all I assume, knew Moyes had pretty much given the game to Liverpool. Johnson on the pitch is a terrible idea. He plays...

Tracey Crouch sent a letter to the Culture Secretary on 22 July 2021 outlining their draft proposals: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1004891/TC_letter_to_Oliver_Dowden_Accessible_Format.pdf Interestingly, WHUISA was asked by the FSA to...

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

Anyone interested in doing a MH secret santa thing?

I reckon we could do a £5ish budget. It could be charity shop stuff or anything really, and we can then all buy for a handful of people. That way, on Christmas day, anyone involved would have things to unwrap.

Re: Smart Home

Thing that confuses me is how those wifi rad controls are powered - do they need mains wiring or batteries or something? What's powering the valves on them? Batteries. We have Honeywell Evohome on the insane no of rads here. The batteries need changing once per year. It all works quite well. Saves ...

I was involved with the Trust in it's previous incarnation as WHUISA. I have had some involvement with WHUISA and HU and my experience of Barking Born is the same as yours. However, the actions of what is now the Trust over the last few years, and while I was involved to be honest, make me believe ...

Crouchie, I don't know if there's anything you can do but wait it out. Do as much exercise as you can and keep battling through. If you asked me a year back where I'd be right now, I would probably have said six feet under. Things move on, and for me, I think just getting through each day and recogn...
