Re: Nottingham Forest v West Ham United : match thread

I hope we revert to the low block, because Nuno likes to counter attack. If we try and press them we'll get the same result as against Villa. After last weeks debacle a dreary 0-0 would be welcome

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I just hate potter's football. All that walking the ball out from the back. I'm not saying Moye's is fantastic at the moment but I just don't get potter at all

Re: Late David Gold, Sullivan and Brady

It's not an offer of paid work I'm afraid, but we're always looking for writers to complement our existing team here on KUMB, goa. And believe it or not, you'd only be the third oldest if you were to get involved! Thanks for the offer but I don't think I'd fit the profile. I've been accused of bein...

Re: Late David Gold, Sullivan and Brady

But is that due to your health or something else rather than no longer working? (Ignore me if too personal). I'm 62, I've been retired 2 years and (mostly) loving it. The only issue is my wife's health and the fact that it limits what we can do, plus she has no hobbies so gets a bit teary if I clea...

Re: West Ham United FC Vs Arsenal FC Match thread

Brighton lost heavily; Arsenal completely took us to the cleaners, re-invigorating their efforts to win the title.

However Brighton were playing relegation strugglers Luton and we were playing title hopefuls arsenal.

Re: Late David Gold, Sullivan and Brady

It’s just as well we are all different cos if I ever make it to 75, I’d like to think I will be spending valuable time with family and not worrying about any kind of working environment. Should I be able to afford retirement at 65, my only concern will be why I keep 3 putting from 10 feet I'm 72, I...

Newer fans. I first went to Upton Park v man city in 1968. My mate who like me left after 70 mins was 5 years earlier. Of course were not real west ham are we

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

I'm not sure why fans leaving at half time would be a surprise. We've just conceded 4 goals in 15 minutes to a very good Arsenal side while not registering a shot on target. Hands up who expected a revival? I did'nt leave until the 70th minute but I don't blame anyone who didn't last past the interv...

Is there one person reading this that prefers what we do and play to what the Tots are doing and playing.... Possession is key...it's what you do with it yes,but it's a base to build on....this years possession stats table ...does the table look familiar... https://en.as.com/resultados/futbol/ingla...

Re: West Ham United FC Vs Arsenal FC Match thread

I watched MOTD2 because I wanted to see just what went wrong because for 20 minutes we looked comfortable then fell apart. The first takeaway is we conceded 2 crucial goals from set pieces. The forst we didn't defend a corner at the back post, the third goal Johnson breaks the defensive line and pla...

I wonder how fa b would have been reviewed if he'd have performed for the first 2 goals like today. Also why can he not kick long?

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Graham Potter would be an excellent appointment if we decide to part ways with Moyes...his time at Chelsea should be completely ignored as that club is a basket case run by an American oligarch who thinks he can just buy a load of expensive players put them all together and that will somehow equal ...

Re: Manchester Utd vs West Ham Utd: match thread

No. The other obtion is to pass the ball to JWP in the right moment who could have put Bowen through. It was a 3v1 in that situation with tbf. Martinez defending great in open space. But yes, both Bowen and JWP should have moved better as well. Johnson was also running in to the back post unmarked....

Aside from dead balls I thought JWP play today was very tidy. He must be relieved not to have to play left wing again

Re: Manchester Utd vs West Ham Utd: match thread

There's much talk about the transfer window, but neither Benny nor Fornals would have improved this result. Sure a top class striker would have done but I don't think that was ever happening

Re: Manchester Utd vs West Ham Utd: match thread

For all the pelters Johnson and Philips took for their 3rd goal, quite rightly, Fab seems to have been let off quite lightly. I like Fab but I thought he was equally at fault, he seemed to completely gamble that he was going to shoot near post which left him flat footed and unable to react. The fin...

Re: Manchester Utd vs West Ham Utd: match thread

Today was frustrating because we wasted opurtunities. Probably if we'd have played a low block we might've won? The reaction of the home crowd tells you who was controlling most of the game. If you don't take your chances you don't win simple
