Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Best win rate of any WHU permanent manager even when including his first time round !!!

While the first attempt on it's own he's 2nd bottom just above Zola but with a lot less game played.

I rather Moyes than BFS.

Well done to those that managed the month. I did 18 days a few years ago but used to drink more then anyway. Now due to an operation I've not been out out since the 30th Dec for a beer, but have had 10 500ml bottles of all over this month spread over 4 Saturdays. Sleeping so much better, not getting...

Re: A place to call home: where next?

Mate of mine retired, sold up and bought a house in Competa, in the hills outside of Malaga, 5 years ago. Weather and repairs (and health) have made him consider 'downsizing' to an apartment in Malaga. He's looked after himself pension-wise so he can do it. Very nice town but hills and winter are b...

Agreed Sticky, although i fancy S.E. Spain. Property is very cheap, climate is good all year & finally for oldies, the Spanish health system is much better than the UK We're trying to downsize here first and then go to south coast of Spain and stay a while to have a look at what's going. A cous...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

The LLDC’s annual accounts show it provided £26 million to E20 Stadium for its “operational and capital requirements”. The accounts also state the stadium’s “fair value is assessed to be nil due to the level of costs included in E20 Stadium LLP’s long-term forecasts”. The LLDC’s chief executive, Ly...
