I actually think Pep it going for a different approach this season. He seems to tweak things every 6-12 months. It looks to me like he’s focusing more on the defence, and not conceding. I can see very few goals going in against them this season.

I really like Paqueta, but would bite City’s hand off for anything over £85m, especially if his head has already been turned. We could bring in Mavropanos and Kudus with the Paqueta money, and have a little bit to spare. I actually think Kudus may suit Moyes’ counter attacking style more than Paquet...

I’m fully on board the Mavropanos train. The bloke is a beast. Big, strong, fast and good on the ball. A threat from set pieces too.

Aren’t Mavropanos’ stats over the last 1/2 seasons really, really good? Like, better than our defenders and those we’ve been linked with, good?
