The problem is though that's always what teams like us, Leicester etc, they just get picked off by the big boys, watch next season if Paqueta shines or even Ageurd etc they'll be hoovered up just as much to damage as anything

Dewsbury-Hall who is a center midfielder?AnthraxDave wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 1:55 pm Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester would walk into our left back slot. I'd love us to pull up trees to sign Amrabat and Neves, but it'll never happen with Sullivan running the show.

Re: Summer Rebuild 2: Electric Boogaloo
In your numbers, Barnes also had more assists. But yes, make it non-penalty goals and it’s a big difference. Barnes is better. Benny has more assists over the last two seasons Is he really though, people are too obsessed with these teams in the bottom three the players are down there for a reason, ...

He is okay as a squad player nothing more, no doubt he will be at Norwich in three years getting promoted and people going on we should've kept him blah, blah,

Re: Summer Rebuild 2: Electric Boogaloo
In the prem this season Barnes has 12 non penalty goals this season, Said has 2. We can make stats say what we want. Hang-on, I presented both goals and asists, Benny has more asssts over the last two years, Barnes more open play goals but not tons, he is not 50 mil, I think he is an upgrade but no...

Re: Summer Rebuild 2: Electric Boogaloo
Worth factoring in that none of Barnes goals have been penalties. While Benny has played in a better team over the last 2 seasons. Imagine having those 2 as our Left wing options? Guaranteed plenty of goals + assists Benny has scored what 3 penalties? Better? Leicester were coming 5th back to back,...

Re: Summer Rebuild 2: Electric Boogaloo
I think if we get Barnes, a lot of people are going to be disappointed, he is a decent player but nothing special, I'm not even Benny's biggest fan but Last two seasons Barnes 18 goals 11 assists Benny 14 goals 9 assists 50 million for 4 more goals and less assists, it's insanity? I think take away ...

Re: Wolves manager's future 'in doubt'
Probably a bit of tinkering here and there - Coady back from Everton, out of contract players released, Neves is probably going due to the last year of his deal. That should be £40m+ for them. He always impresses when i see him. I wouldn't want Coady back, the other issue is that 40 mil for Neves w...

Re: Summer Rebuild 2: Electric Boogaloo
If Barnes is 50 mil, Rice is about 300 mil, Bowen 150, these figures for these relegated players are insane, 50 mil wouldn't probably be far off K Thuram

Re: Wolves manager's future 'in doubt'
Something funny is happening at Wolves, it was always a Mendes client base but that's the manager, Neves seems to be going, Jimenez, they've been given lots of the duds the past two years too, wonder if Mendes and the owners are essentially pulling out and they will be down there next year and releg...

Re: The Relegation Thread
It might look inspired by Sunday evening if Everton fail to beat Bournemouth (they've lost twice to them already this year) and Leicester beat us (which they did in November). It's a gamble but puts Everton in a position where a draw may be inadequate. They were obviously petrified of getting rinse...

Leicester last night was baffling, a point does nothing really but three points would've put them into the lead going into the final day, it took 80 minutes for them to have a shot

Started the Pepsi Netflix thing, seems a bit drawn out at times but is interesting, four episodes at 35 minutes each is nearly 2 and a half hours, overkill

Re: ✍ Pablo Fornals
Yep, at his best Pablo is such an incisive passer - if anything it's the strongest part of his game. Doesn't feel like something which has progressed under Moyes though unfortunately. Nothing to do with Moyes, it's why he is at West Ham because he is a solid player wtih some good moments but no whe...

Newcastle need big investment, most of the players will never reach that level again they have this season
Last night, Longstaff, Anderson, Almiron, Burn to a degree then the likes of Wilock, Gordon is pap, ASM has no constant end product
