Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC
I think a lot of fans have warmed towards Moyes, but I expect some of that goodwill will disappear if he doesn't do something to get us looking a bit more fluid going forwards. Last season we averaged 1.38 goals per game. This season it's 1.7 per game despite a nightmare opening fixture list - and ...

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Manchester Utd: match thread
With Antonios recent history with hamstring problems he should have been eased back in. If he is out injured, I would point the blame more towards Moyes for playing him. :eh: Is Moyes a doctor? Weird to place blame with him. Surely the club doctor would advise him whether Antonio is ready or not?

Cos if he's free we'll have alot more competition for his signature?Bond Holder 59 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 10:43 am Mmmm...when you think about, and if we continue to hold our own on until mid January as we are now, why would we spend £5-7m for a player we could get for free in six months?

For T20s I would swap Roy & Bairstow at the moment. Bairstow back to the top of the order, Roy no 4.
I would also bring in Wood or Woakes for Tom Curran.

Thanks Wembley - yes that makes far more sense. Actually a value of about -£100m makes most sense!!Wembley1966 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 7:41 pm It is made up - that's C&H for you. It's currently valued at £0.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Comparing the stadium to Jack Wilshere is an appropiate analogy.
The club couldn't sell him during the summer. Not even for a 'bargain' £1.5m, not even for FREE. So they the eventually had to PAY to get rid of the money-draining liability.
Jack Rodwell at Sunderland is another good comparison.

The opposite is true. Today he pays £2.5m a year for the Gaff. If he bought it I wouldn't be surprsed if that figure doubled.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
C&H reporting stadium valued at only £1.5 million. Outrageous if true. Probably due to the losses. This would make a potential buyer of the club interested though. At that price could knock down and rebuild after sorting out the athletic lot. That figure has got be made up BS!! How can it be wo...

Re: Frederik Alves Ibsen + other transfer rumours
Is Josh King the kind of player who can play lone striker? I thought he normally played more of a supporting role to Callum Wilson at Bournemouth but I could be mistaken on that. He did exactly that a couple of years back during the season Calum Wilson was out injured. It was by far his most succes...

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Fulham: match thread
The critics of Coufal need to give the Fulham left-back Robinson far more credit - I thought he was absolutely outstanding.
Looks a fantastic signing for them from Wigan - I can see why AC Milan wanted him.
USA have also done well to claim for international football ahead of England.
