Gotcha, so you beat them at football by letting them play football. Genius.

Re: ⚽ The 92: Match #30 - West Ham Utd v Chelsea (1 July, 8.15pm)

The last British team to beat them are Man Utd, who play on the counter. To go at them seems a bit of a fool’s errand. Good old IB, managing our expectations (not that they're particularly hight to start with mind) and curtailing any semblance of enjoyment we might have eked out of the game with th...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Do people genuinely believe that given time to build his own squad, Moyes could build another Everton here and trouble the top six on a regular basis?

This is directed at the West Ham fans and not spurs supporting trolls btw.

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, wasn't sure what was the most appropriate thread. Plenty of love and excuses still coming in for Moyes from the neutral football fans on here regardless of the statistics.

Let's just sit back stupefied and watch as the master tactician spellbinds us with superlative football management over the coming weeks and games.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

I personally think it shows he would have brought in players to move the team forward while gaining real value in the market -win -win. As opposed to throwing big money to get unmotivated players to rock up and sulk. Maybe they're sulking because of Moyes and not despite him? They signed for Pelleg...

0-3

Pulisic and Barkley to terrorise our hapless defence and Rice having a laugh with his mate Mount as they walk off the pitch ahead of playing together next season.

The thing is, where do they go from there? What manager in their right mind is going to take a job with 3 games left and the club on the cusp of relegation?

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Some players clearly aren't buying into Moyes footballing philosophy and can't wait to move on. PL level players aren't generally lazy and they don't suddenly become sh*t (serious injury aside) they do however lose belief in the methods and tactics of the manager, which manifests as a lack of motiva...

Mate You need to weigh up the circumstances and the fixtures he has had to endure since he returned. I said at the time he would not have been my choice as manager but provided he kept us up and the clowns in charge allowed him to remodel the infrastructure he would get my vote - however he won't a...

Regardless of the board and the general malaise surrounding the club, the fact is Moyes has been utter gash second time around as UTJ's stats confirm.
