I would hope the Chair of the ISC would take those concerned to one side and point this out.

Re: Fan Engagement Plan: now includes HU minutes (see page 3)

An alternative members group comprising of HU and the SC might be the way forward. If 10,000 people were paid up members of a thriving SC with fixed premises covered in our memorabilia, it would be a lovely thing. Doc If only there was such a place Perhaps a building near the old stadium.. That had...

Re: Fan Engagement Plan: now includes HU minutes (see page 3)

With respect, and IMHO, I stand by my advice. The problem is to not look like a pressure group or Trade Union movement. I am not advocating right or wrong here, just being practical. As I have said before, I provide my points from the 'Dark Side' as a senior board member of many years standing. Of ...

Re: John Lyall Plaque

Another “fan”tastic achievement by Hammers United. Well done to all who made this happen. You show everyone what’s possible with a little (lots of?) hard work. You also put the beloved custodians of our great club to shame. History & Heritage… Never forget where you came from. This plaque, along...

Re: Club Cash update.

Club Cash is not for me.
In my humble opinion it shouldn’t be for anyone, at least in its current form. I also get that it works for some.. but let’s have it right and proper..
Again HU offer a common sense olive branch, only to be slapped around the face with it.

Re: Petition against S.T. prices and upping of qualifying age for concession tickets.

I looked on here to see how the petition was going and mostly what I see is criticism of West Ham fan groups which is a pity. I have never been a fan of the Supporters Trust and have criticised them myself on this forum, but this actually saddens me. Us West Ham fans want to be represented by a stron...

Re: ⚽ Southampton v West Ham Utd FAC5: match thread

Sorry if it goes against the status quo but… Purely for selfish reasons The FA Cup is everything for me. Whilst I understand the arguments about Europe, player retention & profile (all more than valid) there’s still nothing that can compete with the magic of Cup Final day. I tasted this from afa...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

They were decanting the bottles into cups inside the ground. Cups that the server picked up by putting their fingers inside rather than outside. I decided that I would rather not have my drink laced with whatever she had on her fingers so I swerved it. I wasn't drinking last night, had my water tak...

Re: Takeover talk

Firstly I’m late to the party here and as such I’m sorry if this has been brought up previously in the thread. One omission in the latter part of the comments imo is that we, the supporters, need to be ready if and when the new owners arrive. We need to stand united as a fan base and need a robust a...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

So many points of view. But surely we must all agree on a few things. Firstly, and the most important, is regardless of your feelings toward OS we must all be able to see that we were rinsed. Many promises were broken. The stadium isn’t a world class football stadium. The seats are much further from...

David's Cross - do you think it was worth demolishing our home? No improvement on the pitch - 3 bottom half / mid-table finishes No improvement in match day or commercial income The only people who clearly benefited were Sully's mates at Galliard who trousered c£20m for passing on Upton Park withou...

Nothing about the expensive champions place stones that were expensive to buy but clearly not fit for purpose as they're worn out already. I haven't looked lately at ours. Just a thought.. perhaps you should.. Nothing about the closed off grass area yesterday which is an inconvenience "West Ham...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

It’s all so very sad. Personally I haven’t reached breaking point yet although I’ve been close to tossing it all in. I can relate to those that say they are not renewing but offer them a heartfelt plea. Try and give it one more year. If you don’t renew your seat will be taken by another person. The ...
