It’s ridiculous isn’t it? I’d say at least 70% of handball pens are unintentional and unavoidable. It’s a bigger issue than VAR itself.

Glad to see he is still around Did he ever manage to sell any programmes? I only remember him walking very quickly around the pitch whilst enduring merciless abuse which to his credit he seemed to lap up.

Whether we enjoy his football or not…whatever happens this season, his reputation will have been enhanced by what he has achieved in his two spells at the club. There’s a lot of respect for that in the industry I’m sure, if not closer to home.

We have a great academy and the youngsters results bear witness to that.
