As a first game memento, probably the only acceptable reason to buy a half and half scarf. No others exist after that!

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

I have very little time for the London Stadium, nothing compared to the Boleyn etc, but I just saw a replay of Foden scoring the winner against Man U the other day and when he runs to celebrate in the corner, literally everyone in that section of the crowd is filming him on their iPhone rather than...

I actually prefer this commentator, Seb Hutchinson, to Peter Drury. Less dramatic and more unscripted

The top 5 teams plus Newcastle all averaging more than two goals a game. I’d guess that’s unprecedented in the PL..but I may be wrong.

He’s tailor-made for a manager who values ball retention. . They had 80% possession yesterday…away from home too.

It’s ridiculous isn’t it? I’d say at least 70% of handball pens are unintentional and unavoidable. It’s a bigger issue than VAR itself.

Re: The kids are all right

I can't be the only who thinks our youngsters would be no worse than those of Liverpool, who quite rightly have been getting a lot of attention for their recent performances. They're only able to show us how good they are by being given a chance, something Moyes just doesn't seem to want to do I su...

Whether we enjoy his football or not…whatever happens this season, his reputation will have been enhanced by what he has achieved in his two spells at the club. There’s a lot of respect for that in the industry I’m sure, if not closer to home.

Difference is that we havent given them a chance - its amazing what trust and belief can do to young players It’s possible to have the best team at youth level without having any gold nuggets that are capable of playing in the...
