Re: FM 14

Is there an easy way to spot the regen players? Around April time the new regens are given to clubs, go on the search engine, select overview, then World and view all transfers, click youth intake and look for the highest rated clubs and try and poach a few of their players. Failing that, FMRTE or ...

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

Pathetic behaviour all round... from the club, the owners, and especially those fans with delusions of grandeur. We are a small club, lucky to still be afloat, where avoiding relegation is something to celebrate. I know Liverpool fans get mocked for always harking back to the past, but we are 10x w...

Re: Manchester City v West Ham United: Match Thread.

I always want West Ham to win but I ****ing despise everything Liverpool. In an ideal world, we'd go up there Sunday and win and Newcastle would beat Liverpool.

However, let's not take that risk, I'll happily play out a draw as long as it means Liverpool don't mean the league.

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

I reckon he would do well if he stays next season. Last season we played some decent football and I think we carried that into this season to an extent but once injuries hit us hard he took the decision that we couldn't afford the luxury of playing attractive football and he went down the path of &q...

Re: Sam + 3

A left back, a right back and a more creative midfielder.

The midfielder potentially could just be Ravel coming back so if that happens and he plays more often then I'd probably go out and buy a centre half or a better back up to Carroll.

Re: Dylan Tombides RIP.

Not really one to show much emotion but bloody hell, that video and a couple others I've seen really do get me teary eyed.

Also, reading the tweets from our youth team players is heart breaking stuff.

Re: FM 14

Started a new game earlier in the week with Sheffield Wednesday, most enjoyable game I've had on here for a while.

1st season's aim was to consolidate and, with 14 games left, I'm 4 points off the play offs. Few tough games coming up though which will basically make or break my season.

Re: FM 14

Once the real players start retiring from playing roles on the game, I normally start to get a bit bored after that.

The furthest I think I've managed was to 2029 on last years game but that was due to 1 of my strikers being on course to break every goal scoring record at West Ham and England.

Re: Running track to remain at OS

More than ever I'm convinced the fans ain't going to go . Season 2 , swathes of empty seats at Stratford. Indeed, the 1st season will be hailed as a great success as the novelty value will mean we sell out a few games early on as people rush to see the new stadium. Once the Novelty wears off, peopl...

It really is hilarious on Twitter at the moment, just seeing the amount of people who were so for the move slowly realising that they've been done over by the boards lies.

1st season I finished 7th. 2nd season I was in a title fight for the majority of the season before dropping off near the end and just finishing 4th. 3rd season, can't buy a win in the league played 6, drawn 4 lost 2. Just about beat Sporting to get in the group stage of the champions league, scrappe...

Re: FM 14

Then again they have no real competition so they can be as complacent as they want. And this is the crux of the problem and why I think the game will never get any better than it currently is. Problem is, any other management game has failed against it for 1 reason or another and I doubt they'll ev...

Top bloke. Made his was from 1 end of the pitch to the other to clap us and throw his gloves into the crowd last night, you could tell how devastated he was. As a goalkeeper, letting in 6 goals must be awful, but hopefully the reception we gave him at the end and as he walked away from us let him kn...
