Re: Wellington Phoenix v West Ham United: Match Thread

I would love to be someone again, who really cares about pre-season friendlies three to four weeks before the season-start.

Re: The summer 2014 Transfer thread and wish list

Let's hope Senegal won't qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations. They have to play Tunesia, Egypt and a third team during the Qualifiers this autumn. If they reach the ACN, we surely would have to play without Diame & Kouyate for large parts of January & February.

Trippier has just signed a new three-year-deal at Turf Moor.

As fas as my informations are right, we're still in contact with Christian Träsch's representatives, who's searching for a new club.

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

Why can't someone who spends £620 a season not be allowed to act on his/her opinion as to wether a style of play will stop them from renewing ? Just because you will put up with dross doesn't make you a better supporter. Easily lead i'd say. I've never said that I'm a better supporter. And people a...

"only £20m"

Adrian, Demel, O'Brien. Terrifc signing on free transfers. There's still a heck of value out there.

9 home matches and 4 away this season.

Cost me around 2500 Euros. Flights, tickets + hotel rooms.

Obinna?

Victor Obinna?

A terrible player. No tactical discipline, no pressing, no defensive cover whatsoever and a fruitcake up front.

Re: The summer 2014 Transfer thread and wish list

What can our German experts tell us of John Brooks at Hertha Berlin, because many World Cup guides are singling this young (22) year old US central defender as one to watch out for in the World Cup ? Apparently, he has had a very impressive season More a so & so season. Chelsea scouted him a fe...

Re: The summer 2014 Transfer thread and wish list

The story on Rüdiger won't last long. He's one of Stuttgart's biggest assets and they won't let him go, as there's no need to sell and he has just established himself as their leading centre back.

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

Forward thinking clubs will try and move on quickly on the transfer market before the WC starts. At West Ham nothing will happen until this clowns at board level have come to a decision next week. Shambles.

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

Just a quick point about the feeling around the club. Let's say that we had given Allardyce the boot in January just before the Cardiff game. A new manager had come in and got us back to basics with Taylor in midfield and James Collins at the back. Let's say that new manager had got us 25 points fr...

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

Can we move this post to the scaremongering thread? Utter guff I think stability of the club is far more important, than the managers position. There's no way the club will rise to bigger heights as long as it operates on a short term basis at board level. A club, that generates 60m alone from TV r...

Everyone will be :scarfer: when the evil Allardyce is gone, and nobody will ask serious questions about deals with loan sharks that could put the club in real jeopardy, if the club is able to downgrade itself to the second tier of English football.
