Sounds like a decent acquisition, if Guillem is raving about him. Guillem knows his onions

Any one who has never played in the premier league is a punt, as you never know if they can adapt.

Re: Jan Transfer Window 18/19

Looks like nowt doing then. Even the sky bloke outside our training ground who would usually keep stringing everyone on for viewing figures has now finally said No Gomez, no bats or drinkwater and pretty much nothing happening.

Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs

I feel really odd about all of this. When I first heard Arnie may be off, I was gutted. Yet as the window has gone on, I now find myself disappointed if today's Arnie news puts the kaibosh on us signing Gomez. Strange stuff!

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

In light of todays rumours I think I can conceed that Mark will be the last ever of a certain breed of player with a full on loyalty. There won't be another of this ilk ever again. I 100% agree with you but he does have an added incentive to stay and that's playing for his hometown club and the one...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bournemouth: match thread (18/8)

Interestingly or not really, his team info was wrong and right at the same time. Correct with the amount of changes to the team and incorrect with the amount who dropped out of the squad altogether. Lucky guesses or genuine info, who knows but it would be hard for a team to get an advantage from err...

Well at least to day could mark the end of Ironmike. After saying today that we still have 40 mil to spend and that Gomez is on. If it don't come off, no ones gonna listen to him again. It going completely against what others are saying

Can't believe the amount of grumpy old gits on here at the moment. This is what happens when you conduct your major transfer business early rather than later. Absolute rubbish. Timing of the transfer makes not one jot. Its the player involved that does. Why should I be labelled grumpy because we ar...
