Well, the problem with that argument is they havent and didnt have Allardyce as manager in comparison.

To be fair, all the evidence of Everton has been better than what we've played under Sam. Its not VASTLY different, but the small improvements would make a difference. The ball playing skills of Pienaar and Baines one side, Coleman and Mirallas the other was very good.
