He is our generations Brooking and it was fantastic seeing Brooking present the award to him today.

I hope he remains part of the club like Brooking has done in the 40 years since his retirement. Both proper classy West Ham men, who we can be proud to call our own.

If we can bring in Phillips it will be RIce + 2 of Soucek, Phillips, Fornals and Lanzini depending of the needs of the game. Any combination is pretty formidable.
Soucek has been one of the core reasons behind our upturn in form in the last 2 years and is one of the last areas to change up on.

Not much came off for him yesterday but he put in a proud performance though still. Never stopped trying and working hard for the team and thats all you can as for.

We are lucky to have him but the club have done him a disservice this year but not getting him the support to have a rest.

I thought he was great yesterday. Loved him offering encouragement and hauling up an exhausted Antonio. Warriers both of them.
