Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Thread
Assuming we do not have any money (very likely especially after having to pay for Soucek) and that we do not sell Rice (very unlikely).... I'd be happy with a starting front 6 of; ------Soucek----Rice------ ------------Fornals---------- Bowen--------------Antonio ------------Haller----------- Bowen ...

Re: Gold & Sullivan
Simple legislation. Agents should ONLY be be paid by players. As a % of the weekly wage only. No point an agent going for all the hassle of creating a transfer your player doesn't desperately want if you can't get millions from the signing on fee but rather just get a small slice of any weekly incr...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC
If Villa or Bournemouth show any sort of form he will sleepwalk us into relegation. I can't see any other option than sticking with him and hoping his dire football can grind out enough points to keep us up though.

Sadly looking past it now. Wouldn't be one of my two to partner Rice for the rest of the season.

Re: Coronavirus
I'd rather live my life... Without sounding like a dick, I'm 26 and this aint gonna affect me too much (according to statistics) nor my friends... So honest question, why should I give up what are meant to be the best years of my life? For something that has only killed 33k people in near on 8 week...

Re: The Johnson Government 2019-2024
We will all have to pay for it, this scheme will come at a cost for all It will be almost "all". The 99% will pay financially and via reduced public services, whilst the top 1% continue unabated as always happens, let alone under a Tory government led by Old Etonian Boris. The government ...

Re: Coronavirus
I know plenty of self employed, and the amount of them that are kicking and screaming because they've fiddled tax and under declared is actually quite staggering, and yet they're still saying the government ain't done enough. Amazing how it's fine for them to diddle the government out but moan when...

Re: Coronavirus
Little question if anyone can answer it - Why is someone allowed to cycle for 15 miles but driving for 15 miles is frowned upon ? Because one is exercise and one is (unless an essential trip to the most local shops, relatives to care for, etc) just going for a random drive/hoon increasing the chanc...

He also suspected there will be the chance to sit exams later in the year for those students unhappy with the grades they get. Proper result for them then. Pick and choose the grades you like and potentially only need to focus revision on a couple of subjects rather than 10+ subjects. I expect 2020...

The irony of this coming from someone who bleats and twists stats to suit an agenda all day.Ironing Board wrote: ↑Mon Mar 09, 2020 8:46 pm We can bleat about stats all day, but the evidence of our own eyes tells us we are now playing much better. The results will come.

Don't disagree, but that's what I'd play.HammerMan2004 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 10:43 pm Just can’t see Moyes dropping the captain for a must win game at home. As much as Noble needs to stand down for a bit. Moyes just won’t do it. Especially with no Soucek.

Re: ⚽ Liverpool v West Ham United:Match thread (24/02)
Did Anderson do enough? I don’t like the way he bottles out of challenges And allows opposition players sprint past him, and seems to always goes for the easy pass rather than take some creative responsibility. The only players who didn't really perform IMO were Anderson, Fabianski and Noble who de...

Much better tonight. Amazing what you can do when you actually set the team out to try and attack. Big game Saturday will have to take the game to them rather than counter.

It is. I hope it's more attempting to become a 4-3-3 rather than being so deep we cannot get out of 4-5------------1Ironing Board wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 7:11 pm Well today's line-up seems more positive. Having Anderson back will be a massive bonus
