Re: ⚽ Olympiakos v West Ham Utd: match thread
As a former professional footballer said at Athens airport this morning, too many fringe players thrown in together. This isn't Lincoln in the Carabao Cup. We made Olympiacos look like one of the European giants. If we had performed like we did the last 10 minutes from the start we'd could well have...

Re: Other Games October 21-26
Klopp’s little outburst about officials a few weeks back doesn’t seem to be hurting decision making from a Liverpool perspective does it…… That's the reason they do it. Kick up such an unrelenting shitstorm that people just acquiesce in future and try and avoid giving decisions against them that ca...

Re: Season Review DVD (2003-4)
I used to love getting the season review DVDs. I'm surprised the club hasn't done one for the Conference campaign last season, maybe they can't get the TV rights or maybe they can't be arsed.

Re: Olympiakos away
Kialos. As you would have expected the ISC has asked questions. As you would also expect still awaiting answers! I wonder if a FOI request to the Met to see the date that MetPol spoke to Greek counterparts might elicit some kind of response. It would just be the date of the meeting, not what was di...

Re: Olympiakos away
I think what has pissed most people off, is not so much the coach in and out but the club not advising fans early on of the situation to stop people booking hotels close to the Olympiacos ground. Several did it for convenience and thinking it may even be safer than travelling in and out from the Cit...

Re: Away Tickets Thread -
I love Turf Moor, proper ground. Shame they developed the stand down the other end so you don't get the fantastic views of the Ribble Valley. The Stewards are always friendly and apart from that time when a load of kids trying to look hard come onto the pitch at the end the home fans are OK too.

Re: Away Tickets Thread -
Very cold in late November, their ground is a long way from an airport, and frankly, it's a dead rubber. Even those who booked early and relatively cheaply won't see any change out of £400. Its not unreasonable for supporters to save their hard earned for the next stage of this, and other, competit...

"we all follow the West Ham, over land and sea - but not further than Holland..." Actually wondering what this could mean for Serbia... Those who have travelled abroad to watch West Ham represent a tiny fraction of the West Ham support and none should be made fun of "just" becau...

Re: Takeover talk
But surely it has to have some basis in reality? Otherwise it's like posters getting angry at the thought of bringing Dean Ashton out of retirement to give us an option up front. Not really, it is what it is. As long as it does not contravene the site rules people can basically post what they like ...

Re: Away Tickets Thread -
I'm sure novelty factor plays some part but I think economics is one of the main factors You might be able to scrape together £2/3 thousand extra for those games for a season or two but extended qualifying for Europe takes a significant financial commitment. The very nature of air ticket pricing mea...

Re: Away Tickets Thread -
Still tickets left, looks like it will go into the 10-14 points bracket. I know its abroad and costs more etc, but does make me wonder how low would PL games go if they did away with the AST priority like this one? I'm very surprised its gone this low given there were only 1,600 tickets and the onl...

Re: ✍️ Welcome Lucas Paquetá - Our Brazilian Magnifico
The Brazilian FA are have come down hard on him and wont pick him whilst the investigation is going on. One of their officials apparently said he should be banned for life if found guilty which seems incredibly harsh.
Anyway, keeps him fresh for our games so not all bad.

Can a hug be seen as the same as a handshake? If he signs a new deal at West Ham where does that leave poor old Pep?
