Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
The atmosphere at German football is really good and gets everyone involved... the Frankfurt game against the Rent Boys last week, had the fans all jumping up and down through out...need to breath live in the bowl... The Germans you speak of would be disgusted by the sanitised, club funded efforts ...

100%. I thought he was a cheat even before he got pinged for juicing. Blowing up 20lbs from weigh in to fight. Flat track bully that starts every fight with 2 or 3 rounds in the bank from bent judges and arse licking commentators/pundits. If there’s one fight I want to see more than any other it’s ...

Re: Boxing thread
Well he didn’t even fight Pulev so you can’t exactly count that. Takam the replacement is essentially a heavyweight jounrneyman, Parker is distinctly average imo, Povetkin is nearly 40 years old and half his size and I’m not sure you’d class Ruiz a tough test and he won’t cause him any problems. I ...

What you’re alluding to there is spot on, Ortiz is clearly in the middle of a PED cycle and could do without VADA picking up on that!

The trouble is Joshua hasn't had a tough test now since Klitchsko What  Since Wlad he’s had Pulev (replaced by Takam), Parker (WBO Champ.), Povetkin and now Ruiz (replacing Miller)... How aren’t they tough tests? Just who do you want him to fight seeing as Fury hasn’t been available and is now...

Re: Boxing thread
Part of the problem with boxing now, promoters like Hearn have got fans talking about money/splits. Fans should demand the best fight the best, nothing else. I don’t believe much Hearn says when it comes to his salesman speeches. Why's that a problem, what's wrong with digging down into the reasons...

Re: Boxing thread
Joshua is quickly becoming a bit of a phoney. clueless... How on earth is it Joshua's fault that Miller was drugged up to the eyeballs? Following this how is it Joshua's fault that Luis Ortiz and his team rejected an offer 14x higher than his career high payday versus Wilder (which was $500k)...

Re: Boxing thread
Khan has let himself down very badly, he coined it in from that fight though. He should retire unless he really has the heart for a fight with Brook. Allen won the battle of the puddings, Browne should definitely retire, whilst Allen should keep training, learning and doing very basic things like a...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Its probably been talked about but does anyone know why there are a bunch (a whole other stand) of claret and blue seats underneath the tarpaulin under the screen in the Trevor Brooking stand? That’s the actual lower tier as used for athletics etc, & the only permanent structure in that cesspit...

I'd been saying all along that Andrew Selby shouldn't have been going to Mexico to fight and so it proved. He's been terribly managed, he was streets ahead of Edwards and Yafai as an amateur and I fully believe that he would have made fools of the pair of them had he been given the fights he deserv...

Which is one of the reasons that Ashley is finding it so difficult to sell the club. The maintenance and running costs of the stadium are very high, especially using it for less than 25 days a year. There's been a lot of nonsense and rubbish spouted on this site (a fair bit by myself)... But this t...

2 Top Ten finishes in a row under the Icelandic “cloud”, something G&S haven’t achieved in nearly a decade of ownership.
