Re: Michail Antonio

Leicester are top of the table with effectively a team of players sharing Antonio's work effort, pace, engine and spirit.

Re: Michail Antonio

It's all because I transferred him into my work fantasy football team on Wednesday.

He replaced Moses in my team, who was different class when he came on!

Re: West Ham -v- Liverpool - 4th round replay match thread

We've had decent draws to the quarter final this season. Wolves at home, a Liverpool side who clearly see the FA Cup well down the list of their priorities and then Blackburn. We wasted an opportunity at Anfield last week. If we **** this up Tuesday night I'm gonna be proper annoyed. If we do lose ...

Hopefully Kouyate comes in, I'd drop Song. I'd probably start Emenike ahead of Valencia, just to see what happens.
What would happen is that we'd get thrown out of the competition for fielding ineligible players!

Re: Southampton V West Ham match thread

It was very frustrating and disappointing but I don't think we played as bad as many are making out. We just completely lacked penetration in the final third and didn't start attacking their goal until the last 15mins. And Southampton were superb defensively, but individually and tactically. There's...

Re: Southampton V West Ham match thread

That last paragraph is why Jelavic should have played, or St least been am option from the bench. He has very good movement off the ball and can link the play But AC and - you would presume - Emineke are better players. If we'd played Jelavic we'd have everyone saying we lost because we didn't play...

Re: Southampton V West Ham match thread

I thought Noble was outstanding today as well.

Extremely frustrating team performance though and Southampton got their defence/set-up spot on.

Re: January 2016 Transfer Rumours

Maybe this is something that should be saved for the summer thread. If during the summer window we want to move the squad onward, some are going to have to be released, but who. if we are looking to bring in three or four to allow to move on who do we have to get shot of. Do we get rid rid of the y...

Re: January 2016 Transfer Rumours

Said it all along, would love Berahino. I think the guy's got real talent and achieved a lot thus far for his age. He did himself no favours with his petulant stink over the failed Spurs deal, but he's a naive kid. We had similar things with Defoe and Mr Ince. If we're genuinely on the up, he should...

Re: Liverpool v West Ham United: FAC4 Match Thread

There was that stevey, plus Reid's shirt tug a few minutes later and the back pass that never was, which should have resulted in us being awarded a free kick on the edge of the box in a central position (cue Payet or Enner). Not to mention Lovren's (I think) studs up challenge. yeah, I totally forg...

So who's your choice of penalty takers for the replay?

Re: Liverpool v West Ham United: FAC4 Match Thread

Yet I could probably name ten calls he got wrong (most already mentioned in this thread). Maybe he did then but find it hard to believe any of them had any impact on the result. Watching the game (and only just joining this thread), nothing stood out as particularly bad - other than the handball in...
